last summer in 2006 while i was sitting on the toilet reading my new copy of nylon magazine i saw the ad for the tan playground print i think it was a bella. after that i was determined to find a tokidoki bag!

 resin I love ur story!!

Mine isn't as exciting or funny. It was back in Feb. (I think) that my hubby and I, along with our couple friends went to NYCC and I came across a booth that was selling the toki moofia figures. I thought they were sooooo cute so I bought choco milk and polpettina. When I got home, I decided to google tokidoki and came across the lesportsac site. I fell in :love::love: with the tan playground print but thought there was no way I was going to pay those prices for a nylon LESPORTSAC bag! (Plus PG was sold out and I think the newest print was pirata). So I forgot about it until around May or so when I stopped by Macy's to look for a white bag for the upcoming summer season and that's when I saw l'amore. I fell in love and have been obsessed ever since.

i'll play, tho I think I've posted this before...

I was on my honeymoon in HI last spring, and I saw the OP in the lesportsac stores in Honolulu... and it was instant love. Had to have one.... got my OP bambino.. tho I don't have it anymore bc the rivet broke and I was kinda annoyed at the quality, and I lost interest in it for a while.. then I saw the summer citta print and loved that and it's been downhill ever since....

Well, I have always been a huge Anime fan and I was doing research for my website and I found Simone's personal website totally by accident. I showed my DH and he said it looked familiar, turns out he had some tokidoki images as a screen saver....

I was already on board with Lesportsac collabo with Gwen and L.A.M.B. and found out that tokidoki was up next to collabo w/ Lesportsac....I waited like three months for the bags to come out and I have been addicted since then...

This was in May of this year.. My birthday (May 27th) was coming up so I needed to find myself a present since my hubby is the worst gift-giver ever.. I decided I needed a new bag (I was using an Isabella Fiore that I had for 3 years.).. Well I have seen Lesportsac before and always thought they kinda look cheap and didnt like the prints.. I live in Miami and there is no tokidoki here what so ever. Anyhow I was looking at Macys.com and found the L'Amore line and I just fell in . So I got a L'Amore Campeggio.. When it arrived I was staring at it for the longest time that I thought I had to see if they had other prints.. I searched ebay and saw Foresta for the first time. I got a Foresta Ciao Ciao and it just went down hill from there... I then found this forum and the outlets and so on... It has been less then 4 months and I have gotten 10 bags (9 for me and the other one for my 3 year old..) And always planning my next buy..lol.. I am a total addict.. :p.. and I LOVE IT..lol :yahoo::shame::cutesy::happydance:

I was into Simone Legno's artwork from the beginning before LeSportsac. I always would troll DeviantArt and look for really good artists and work I thought was interesting. So anyway, I watched his work from there and then found out he was doing a collaboration with LeSportsac and couldn't wait. So really I was there even before day one. Talk about being an addict. And my Tokidoki collection doesn't just end at the bags...I have vinyls, a custom canvas, circus punk, qees, etc. etc. and a whole lot less money! LOL!

I stumbled upon the bags a little over a year ago when I saw a Citta Gioco featured in one of the Urban Outfitters catalogs. Even though I thought the price was high, it haunted me... I tear sheeted the page figuring I might pick one up down the line... they soon sold out. I started collecting a few months later.

I currently have 20 bags now and have 4-5 more to go (older prints). I am not getting every print (no OP, Famiglia or Vacanze), just ones that appeal to me in styles I favor (pretty much just handbags and totes).

I discovered them by way of flickr. I saw a girl's post there about how she bought the bag because of the cute blasian girl on the print and that it was a good print. Did some researching and found the site. Even though it was too late for me to get anything "Playground". :crybaby:But, I'm happy to report I just bought my first bag today! I'll post pics when I get it. :D

OMG, that is what also made me fall in  with toki is the blasian angel girl! My kids are asian/black! So she's my favorite character and she's is when my  affair with toki's started!

I saw the full page ad by LSS in our local magazine and since that moment..i'm hooked!! LOL I even took a day off from work on the day of the 1st launch to lay my greedy paws on them..keke but alas! then I did not noe anything about placements so my OP Stellina is full of chopped off Sandys :noggin:

You totally bought my Spiaggia Ciao from eBay!!! :p omg yay I'm your first bag!!

I chanced upon a LSS Tokidoki ad for first edition on a local fashion mag and I knew I wanted it!! But I realised that I was looking at an old issue and the first edition print was already sold out!!! Then I looked for my local auction and realised that they were kinda expensive but I knew I wanted it, I bidded but lost it. Anyway lucky me, I found DFS selling them and I wiped almost all the first edition print models - the stellinas, bambione, bambino, ciao. I didn't buy the travel duffel, scuola, canguro and denaro coz I didn't like them. Boy good thing I did buy though it burst my wallet, haha!!

I found Toki by accident while shopping in Macy's. I needed a new purse and was eyeing some Coach and Dooney bags but just wasn't feeling it...I found everything just sort of blah and boring. Then I happened upon the Toki display and fell in love with the colors and the silliness. They had Spiaggia, Lamore, Pirata, AS, Arancia, Fumo, Notte at that point. I bought a Spiaggia Stellina and I was hooked. All downhill from there. I wish I had found it a month or so earlier - I might have gotten Paradiso or Inferno!

I ended up returning that Spiaggia Stellina because it was full of cut off heads and boobs in weird places (didn't know about print placement when I bought it), and now I'm lusting for something in Spiaggia again!
