Telfar shopping bag - thoughts?

I’m a pop girl - that azalea is calling my name I bought the cobalt blue sm and medium and a black small (and have to confess I bought his round bag last night post fashion show on Telfar TV). I will! And since it wasn’t bag security I should have it in the next week or so. One thing I love about bags like this one is that they’re made unisex and that way they are always long enough straps for cross body for me. I also like really geometric shapes so I’m hoping this will be a fabulous bag. I’ll be back!

It arrived! I know this is the Telfar shopping bag thread, but had to announce my round Telfar. One quick pic before lunch as a tease
I will show more pics and what fits in after, but I love it! It came beautifully packaged.

i really like this round bag! It’s a great size, completely weatherproof, and well made. I don‘t have many black bags, so this fit a niche for me. As Covid restrictions lift, I find I carry more some days than during higher restrictions, when an LV pochette would do.
The bag can be hand carried, shoulder or cross body carried. I was right - the strap is plenty long for taller and/or curvier people. It has a middle zip main compartment with two slip pockets between the outside of the bag and the main compartment, both with magnet closes. My iPhone 13 pro max fits with lots of room to spare in these pockets with room for more. it also has a flat pocket inside the bag. The last pic is most of what I carry every day. Overall I couldn’t be more pleased!

Thanks to you both. It’s always fun to get a new bag you really like. I also appreciate so many of you here on Tpf that take measurements, photos, send links to accessories, etc. It’s so nice to have more info when we consider a bag. I’ve loaded her up and will be making a Target run later Most of my bags get an early Target run - my happy place (sometimes)!!

I find the Telfar bags to be incredibly well made for the price. I mean, there is only so much you can get for 100-300 dollars nowadays lol

I have the mini which is super cute and fun for casual outings. My bff has the medium as a workhorse bag she's used for 2 years now (essential worker throughout the pandemic) and it has been incredibly durable throughout. They don't look bad at all and don't really fall apart.

Heck, I'd go as far as to say that the quality of these Telfars live up to my high end designer bags. Are they like my birkins? No absolutely not. But they are pretty comparable to my Prada bags for sure.

I agree. I think some members that has made comments about ‘ It’s ugly, cheap looks etc”…have unrealistic expectations comparing the Telfar to any designer bags that cost in the thousands of dollars, which is ridiculous. I have two; black and leaf small bags and I love them for various reasons:
1. Their cute. Can wear casual or dressy.
2.Your supporting a black business.
3. It’s affordable and EVERYONE can purchase, unlike other designers bags who prices are to exclude people from buying their product.
So, with all that beings said, I love the brand, and what it stands for!

I am 100% in agreement with you mrs moulds! I think Telfar Clemens is amazing and I read a piece the NYT did on him last year, what a story. I love his bags, I have a medium, two smalls, a large one on the way for a dog training bag that can hold everything including a small mat, and I just purchased his round bag. The round bag is lovely, made in Italy, and is functional and different. And it came in packaging that beats LV packaging hands down. I don’t expect his bags to be H or LV, but that’s not why I buy them. I love his motto “its not for you, it’s for everyone”. I too love his brand and what it stands for and represents and I like supporting a black business that is inclusive - to a wide community that is often ignored by fashion! Thanks for speaking out - we need more people like him!!!

My dog’s Telfar came today in Eggplant! I ordered the large so everything we need will fit including a mat. It’s a very large bag with an inside zip pocket and a flat pocket and great long shoulder straps. I also like that it stands up in its own. She truly will be the most stylish puppy in training class And it is easy clean and carefree! Here it is loaded up.
