I think I’m admittedly a hater but these two just give me the cringies (making up a word here).
The post caption (“English teacher”) has me rolling my eyes, like girl you’re not a poet laureate. And the recent podcast where she said something like “how we met is what I’ve been singing bout for years” just made it all feel too formulated.
I also think I was just asleep during the time she blew up in popularity because I remembered her as a meh pop singer then suddenly one day she was everywhere. I’m old and confused

Tay as the "English teacher" and Travis as the "gym teacher" is a thing that Swifties came up with when they started dating... I think it's cute she referred to it!
Wish her nothing but the best, although I'm concerned that we won't get any heartbreak/breakup songs (unless it's "fiction" like in folklore and evermore). I love when Tay shatters my heart, lol.
ETA: The photos are a callback to the posters that came with one of the editions of her album, Lover...
It's also 12 days since the Podcast aired and her upcoming album will be her twelfth, so that's also cute.
It's nice that she has someone who loves her love of Easter eggs and theatre-kid side.

Sure, it's easier to be biting and cynical (I also didn't love the Podcast/thought it was weird how much they were holding hands), but why not celebrate love and happiness?
The Taylor Swift fandom is cringey, to me, but I do remember when she was just starting out and seeing the Love Story music video in 2007 while my mother was at the dentist. We saw her heading in to our local mall in Nashville, when she still had the curly, long hair. So, I have a little Millennial attachment? I wish them all the happinesses and that they have a long life together
