Lots of couples get engaged and don't last. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom come to mind. Many not only engaged but get married and don't last - Kim and Kanye come to mind.
They may last - they seem to share an emotional maturity. But being engaged doesn't seal it.

OK, so they're engaged. Fine. It boggles the mind that the NYT and other major outlets put out special alerts on cell phones and emails.
True. Any time you put two big celebrity egos together there’s a good chance that it won’t last forever. It will probably last for a while though, at least long enough for them to have a kid or two. Both of them are 35, starting a family has become a priority. After that, who knows?
I think are well suited for each other. Both famous enough in their own right to not feel overshadowed. IMO the wedding will be sooner than (years) later
