Taylor was on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason. She has been re-habbing her parents because her dad had a quintuple bypass and her mom had a knee replacement. She said "This man put together cribs and play sets and now I'm putting together his shower chair and his adjustable bed."

There's an outtake at the end, Taylor tries to get rid of flower sprinkles in her mouth.

Taylor is a wonderful daughter to her parents. She and her mom took turns caring for her father 24x7 when he had the surgery. It's heartwarming to know that stardom didn't change her kind heart. And living with her parents during this difficult time is the right call. What a great human being.

It is a great thing to do. It is also something that many many adults do in caring for aging parents. What I don't understand in the furor of fandom over Taylor is why when she does things that many people do, she's held up as saintly for it. I know it's not just that her fans haven't reached that point in her life, because I know she's got a lot of middle aged and older fans.

She is a nurse-maid to her parents, doing manual labour such as setting up raised toilet seats and beds? She's a saint, I tell ya. I would think Travis would do any heavy lifting though, he's got the muscles.

Exactly. A great thing to do regardless of who you are. Many people do it without billions in the bank to alleviate the hardship to all concerned. They put together toilet seats and beds because they can’t afford to outsource it. But fans and the media seem to look to any excuse to put her on a pedestal.

I try to be fair and listen directly to podcasts that get a lot of buzz rather than taking the reports of what is said at face value. So in that light, I listened to about an hour of the podcast over the weekend. Since I'm not a regular listener to New Heights, I accept that the podcast may always operate where Jason is asking questions and Travis is giving Beavis and Butthead like comments as a comedy bit, but I was under the impression that they're usually more equal in their talking. I'll also give Travis a lot of room that he knows the things Taylor was talking about, so it made more sense for Jason to do the heavy lifting.
All that said, I thought that Taylor and Travis sounded like a couple of sixteen year olds trying to sound cool on a You Tube channel they just started. She came across to me as Markle-like in the way she was convinced she was so special and unique for being a touring artist, and I started to feel a little embarrassed for Travis in the way he couldn't offer anything but commenting from time to time about how wonderful and how beautiful she is. I guess they're made for each other, because I don't think anyone of them has advanced from their high school years mentally.

I agree. Have you seen the Showgirl album photos? They are too much, too revealing, and she's not sexy. And a lot of her fans are super young, I don't understand why she's trying to influence them like this.

The longer she's been singing, the less clothes she's got on. I don't get her point.....I wish Travis could just marry her and be done with. And she won't have to "prove" she's sexy anymore. She can go back to normal.......

She can’t do it because despite her ding, she has no ability to shake anything off, ever.
