I think it depends on the person and their personality. The bow looks cute on Jessica Biel because it suits her. The snake on Bai Ling looks great on her because it suits her. (I don't see Jessica Biel with a snake or Bai Ling with a bow.)

I really don't like Megan Fox's Marilyn tattoo. I love Marilyn Monroe but her portrait tat looks weird because of the placement. And it's HUGE.

ive been thinking about getting one, my 2 brothers and my sis have some, im the only one that doesnt, but my husband hates tattoos.. i want a care bear or something hahaha

I agree but not only because it looks weird but I'm not a huge fan of large picture tats on women (sorry to any tpfer's that have them) especially on arms or legs.

I think that Posh and Angelina are proof that women can have tattoos and still look well polished and classic, without any clashing or 'conflict of interest'. This is what I strive for.

Though my sister tells me she can see me as a kind of person who can pull off a sleeve tattoo.... at first I didnt know how to take that.. lol. Now I choose to take it as a compliment:tup:


Its ALL about how well it is done and how it fits your lifestyle. There are stereotypes that only biker types, cons, or punks are "tattoo people", but I see exceptions to this all the time. I think there is something self assured about a person who has the dedication to anything enough to have it as permanent art on their body.

But, Cher had that same tattoo a few years ago -necklace & cross at the top of her arm - but I am under the impression that she had it removed

Beyonce 's tattoo here - I wonder if this was photoshopped or she had it removed, I've seen her in swimsuits and never noticed this

i would get one but i don't think i'll ever be able to decide exactly what i want! i don't want to get something i'll regret or think is stupid in a couple of years
