The more I see the small brown one, the more I love it. I don't think I am a fan of how the mini has a shiny leather strap, I know it can be changed but it would be nice if it came with a matte strap!

I know, same! Literally cannot make up my mind. Love the casual-but-chic vibes of the small with that gorgeous brown strap. The mini is adorable, but it gives me slightly more fancy vibes, probably due to the shiny strap plus the smaller, cocktail watch size of the case. Of course, both can be dressed up or down, which is the beauty of them. Still such a tough decision! I think there’s a case to be made to owning both sizes, but of course I can only pick one (for now?)!

I was just on the Chrono24 app and someone is selling a BNIB tank mini for almost $15k USD…
it was purchased last month and should still be eligible for their extended holiday return policy (if they really didn’t want to own it); not sure how much luck they’ll have selling it for more than twice the price as long as it’s currently still widely available at Cartier online. Maybe in the future if/when it sells out they will have better luck! 👀

I don't think that's bad. I was quoted twice that for a green lizard for my Rolex evening watch at Asprey, that was ages ago.
Just a generic one for a Small Tank Louis/Must is around €250.
Back to topic. The mini Louis makes a beautiful evening watch, and much as I would prefer mechanical, these days such small watches are always going to be quartz. If they discontinue, I think they will still be highly popular preloved.

So exciting; congrats! Did your SA give you an ETA on when it might arrive? I’ve heard that replacement straps can take anywhere from several weeks to several months to arrive — hoping you don’t have to wait that long! 🤞 I haven’t seen anyone else on any other forum, social media, etc. with this new tank mini change out the strap yet so can’t wait to see yours. 😍
