I have 3 pairs and they are indispensable in the fall/winter. I tend to prefer the non-classic styles (although I have a pair of black Harness boots). I think they are worth it because they are so well-made and with just a bit of care, they will last you for years. The 2 other styles I have are classical in shape and style (cognac Elizabeth Rings and black Maxine loops) but just aren't commonly available. I will definitely be wearing them for years to come. I am considering a pair of cowboy boots such as the Billy next.

I just bought a pair of Frye Carmen Harness boots in dark brown. I'm really glad I did. I got them at Amazon, and they were on sale for under $100. They're very comfortable, and look fantastic. I have fairly large calves and wide feet, and they fit pretty true to size for me. I was so happy that I could wear them over a pair of jeans.

They are definitely worth the price. They are well-made and will last you a while. if you can find them on sale, even better. I bought a pair of frye boots from Off Saks last fall for $99...or $69. I dont remember now, but it was a good deal. I've also been seeing a ton of Frye boots in Marshalls for $60.

I have Veronicas in a dark burnt brown color I got from the Rack, worn and refinished for $80 bucks! They were a size bigger than what I normally wear but they're great for my wide feet and big calves! At first I thought they were odd looking but now I love them bc I can tuck them into jeans without really struggling like I do with my other non zip boots. I'm seriously considering buying another pair in black because these are really comfortable for boots! I'm on my feet all day at work and they don't really bother me unless I wear them two days in a row then my feet will start to ache a little.
Sometimes the Rack gets Frye boots in that cost under $200 but usually in odd colors. Definitely worth the splurge imo!

I just bought a pair of Frye Melissa boots in cognac from tobi.com and got 25% off using the code tobicandy25. So they came to $238.50. I don't know what size you are but they have one size left in the cognac and plenty more in the light brown.

I have 4 pair of Frye boots!!...they are a definite go-to for me for Fall/Winter. I agree they are a little pricey...but they will last forever, and only get softer and more comfy the more you wear them!!

Does anyone have the Paige tall riding boot? I'm thinking of getting these in dark brown for the fall.

I have pretty large/athletic calves but I've been ok with a lot of other boots. Are the Paige boots pretty forgiving in the calves?

I have the Paige boots in dark brown. They come up to my knee and have buckles (non functioning ones) on the side. I love them but I wished the buckles actually could be used. I also have wider calves compared to my foot size so I had them stretched. With a bit of a wiggle I was able to fit my feet in there. I think I may get them stretched again, cause I do love them and I hate the fight sometimes to wear them.

I bought a pair of Harness 12R boots last year and wore it all winter long and part of spring. I love, love, love them! It's made really well and I can tell these boots will last a long time, so yes, I definitely think Frye boots are worth the price.

If you buy a pair of pull-on boots, I'd recommend getting a boot jack. It helps you remove the boot really easily.

I love Frye boots! Although I have a question for you Frye fans - how do you care for the boots with leather soles? Do you let them go au naturel or put on a thin rubber sole? (If au naturel, how do they wear over time?

I've only had rubber-soled versions so far!

I've seen a bunch at Marshall's! I got the Melissa Honeycomb in June because they were like 40% off at Macys and I just had to scoop them up. Haven't worn them yet just because it's summer here and it doesn't make much sense to me to wear them but I'm excited to break them out come fall.
