I wonder if anyone of you experienced this. The colour of the jeans is transferred to the light-coloured leather bag. How should it be removed without damaging the bag?
Gloves. The leather darkens from moisture/sweat/creams/oils etc on the hands. Wear gloves and this doesn't happen.
Yeah I knew that already, so I always wear it on the crook of my arm. Was hoping there was a product out there for saffiano that would work. LMB has a product called For Handles Only which a lot of ladies use on their bals/LVs. I'll shoot Barbara an email and see if she has anything specific for saffiano leather. If you missfiggy can't suggest a product then I guess gloves is the best bet as you are the Prada pro!
I'm planning to purchase a Saffiano Lux Tote when I travel to Paris later this year. Today I went into my local boutique for some research.
The SA advised against any cleaning product on the leather. I was looking at the colour Cameo and I was curious how you all look after your bags?
She also told me I shouldn't carry it in the rain.
Do the handles get dirty after awhile and how do you prevent or clean this?

My SA said can use non-detergent baby wipe or even a very light soap and water to clean. He said that saffiano can handle water (i don't think he meant A LOT of water though). But he said no matter what it will tan from oils and being exposed to the enviroment

Thanks for your advice on baby wipe. That makes sense! I was sure I had read that elsewhere and it made no sense my SA said that nothing can be used at all!
What does your SA mean by "tan"? Does the leather eventually go really dark and dirty? Now I don't know if I should get Cameo!
Does anyone here have a older Saffiano item in a light colour who can share a picture or cleaning advice?
I have a BN2578 bicolor fuoco and talco combo. I wore it with a green sweater gifted to my by my girlfriend. Horror of horrors after about half an hour of wearing it, I noticed the talco part (cream colour) had gotten a greenish stain! When I got home, I used this special soap that came with the Pink cleaning stuff I had bought as a special item from Costco. The mark came off! I love saffiano leather!
what can you use to clean the nylon leather, because in my collection i have 2 backpacks, and they are INCREASINGLY DIRTY!!!!!

. I am at work at the moment and will have to check my receipt (if I can locate it) when I get home to see if they mention any warranty period on it.
I live in Australia and purchased this tote in July 2012 while on vacation in Hong Kong. I haven't used this bag much at all and when I do, I only carry light things. For the price I paid, I am horrified that this could happen with such little use. Has anyone experienced this same problem?

i think someone else here had theirs fall off last month if i recall.
Call the store they do provide "spa" service for their bags (I made sure to ask specifically before i purchased mine). I think it should be under warranty in the first year, but I'm not 100% sure.
