If the leather is off, there's not much you can do, I fear. Which color do you have? Maybe you can use coloured leather creme or wax to fill up the spot?

In my case, the creme doesn't change the leather. I used it, because there was a small matt area which is now shiny again. I can only tell that it worked for me, no guarantee

I noticed now I have a few matte spots too! Wondering what these spots are?!

Also, I've got a Peonia Prada Zip wallet that has nylon(?) attachment to the zipper, and I noticed now it has darkened spots cause of use :< how do I clean these any ideas? Wiped with my dust bag and it got better but not 100% clean.
Yeah the leather kind of came off unfortunately..I have the caramel color.

Just wondering if anyone's experienced sealant cracks on the tote handles and around the zippers for their Saffiano totes. I have a Miu Miu and it has the most horrible sealant cracks.

yes, my two-year old saffiano tote has several cracks (more like peeling, not cracking?) on the handles, pretty much right in the center where my hands land.

I have no advice on how to clean this purse! I have been wearing my caramel colored Lux for 1.5 years. Recently took it into Neiman Marcus for servicing as I am having issues with the seam seals peeling and involuntary thread pulls. They will also have the servicer clean and re-dye the Lux as well which I think will help the faded spots where some of the color has rubbed off. All of this is being done by an authorized Prada repairman.

I am also experiencing this with my saffiano lux that I purchased in June 2011. The seam seals on the handles and around the top of the purse started peeling. It is actually being repaired now. Other than that, I have no issue with the purse. However, I seriously doubt I'd purchase another.
I purchased a patent LV Alma the same week as that, and have not ONE issue with the seal. That is the type of quality I expect when I purchase a bag within this price point!

I recently purchased a saffiano lux tote in talco and was wondering what the best way to clean it is
Any tips would be much appreciated!
I actually use the Japanese eraser to clean off any dark marks. Make sure it's the eraser that feels almost plastic and has a white body. A pentel one would work well.
are you repairing it through prada directly? how long do they take? any issues or hassles or is it an easy process?
