Yes it more than likely would. Especially since zinc oxide/titanium oxide doesn’t absorb into the skin. It sits on top creating a physical barrier between the skin and the sun. So it would more than likely get on the bag if it came in contact. It would look like a grease stain on nylon.I’d like to get a Prada nylon bag as a grab and go over the warmer months instead of my usual leather bags. I use mineral sunscreen and it stains leather. Does anyone happen to know if it also stains nylon? TIA!
Where did you buy it?Hi friends, got this great bag in December and it holds my essential around town, just love it. Yesterday noticed some pigment loss in a corner. Tried leather conditioning wipe to no avail. Considered shoe polish but realize I don't know what I'm doing so I thought I'd consult the experts here. Can you please help me figure out how to restore to full glory? It's a noticeable spot on my daily go bag! Thanks a lot.

I'd take it back then. The popped threads stick out more than the blotches, not that they aren't bad enough.Prada in NYC
I have no idea, from the threads that I have read and other sites said that you needed the card. Who knows why. I am glad I came here first. Thank you for the information, there are two Prada stores near me. And I will be taking it there. Not so long ago I was at the Prada store at the outlet mall. They pulled out a book and quoted prices for each repair my bag needed. They did not ask for any authentication card, although I did not proceed with repair. Each bag has its own tag and number, why would they ask you for a card? Its not mandatory to keep it)))
Post some photos. That helps.A few months ago, I posed this qustion and now realize I should have posted it here.
I have a few questions for anyone who owns or is familiar with the iconic fairy bag from 2008.
1. How would you describe the original background color..... white or more of an off white/ beige? I just purchased a used one in good condition but i was a little surprised the color was much more beige than i was expecting as it looked brighter in photos and I'm wondering if it darkened over time from dirt, sunlight, elements, whatever.
2. I heard these bags were reissued after first edition was found to have ink bleed, especially if got wet. Is there a way to determine if a bag is from the original issue or second?
3. Has anyone successfully cleaned exterior of this bag without causing any damage? Thank you for any help!
I tried to take photos today and the bag looks much brighter in photos than IRL. in person, it looks kind of dingy and I don't think I could clean it but just wondering how the color looked originally. I wasn't expecting a stark white but brighter than it beige color it appears in person. For comparison, I put bag next to an old gucci soho in an off white/ivory color and a prada that has more of a white color. I took photo in outdoor daylight too and in car where you can kind of see the fairy dust sheen and parts that are worn. Also, since I took out to photograph, I decided today was the day I should finally use her for first time!Post some photos. That helps.
Nothing at all about the color doesn't look good. Definitely don't try to clean. It's never been a white white color. Wear it and enjoy! It was a special bag when it was released (after they fixed the bleeding fairy issues) and still is.I tried to take photos today and the bag looks much brighter in photos than IRL. in person, it looks kind of dingy and I don't think I could clean it but just wondering how the color looked originally.
