Agreed. Susan Hussey isn't a celebrity. There is no reason for this thread. If every person who worked with a celebrity and got themselves into a mess deserved a thread, this forum would be miles long. I'm frankly shocked it's allowed to continue.

I especially appreciated this part of the statement, it would be lovely if people would respect the wishes of the palace...

Ms Fulani, who has unfairly received the most appalling torrent of abuse on social media and elsewhere, has accepted this apology and appreciates that no malice was intended.

Both Ms Fulani and Lady Susan ask now that they be left in peace to rebuild their lives in the wake of an immensely distressing period for them both.

They hope that their example shows a path to resolution can be found with kindness, co-operation and the condemnation of discrimination wherever it takes root.

Please let this resolution be enough for mods to lock this thread. This is not celebrity news or gossip.

I tried not to squash discussion but I think this thread has ran its course. They are not celebs, and the bickering is exhausting.
