I responded to your other thread but to me it’s normal. Extra glazing settled in canvas. Mine has them but not quite as many. I wouldn’t try to remove because you could end up damaging the glazing or the canvas. Maybe try wiping firmly with a cloth but if it doesn’t come off, don’t push it. Honestly it wouldn’t be worth returning for me but we did have another (now banned) member here who was obsessed with bringing up the black dots on her pastel NF so, it’s your decision if you return and try to get another.

My pastel NF also has a very few black dots- I wonder if it is just something that happened when manufacturing this color canvas. My opinion is, if the dots do not look like they will spread or get worse, leave them alone. In terms of exchanging- you never know if the next one is better or worse of if you can even get another one at this point. It seems this collection was wildly popular esp. pastel cw and there does not seem to be a consensus whether more will be available when the stores re-open. Tough decision- good luck!

Wowza woman!! You scored and what a lovely collection. How fun. I thought I so much wanted a speedy when I first saw and got NF instead as it suits my lifestyle (well my old one anyway) better than a speedy. Seeing yours though makes me want a speedy!Here is my escale family.

Lovely Collection!!!Did anyone get the pastel pencil pouch? Do you love it. I glossed over it and now that it’s not in stock I want it.
I did not buy the escale but I did buy catogram and xmas 2019 Shanghai. I love the Elizabeth- it is not just for pencils. It is a really nice catch-all that you can put make-up and other bits and bobs in. They are so well made too- little gems. Good luck getting one- I am sure there will be more limited collections offering this piece. It is also made in plain canvas- the DA is beautiful.
