Yay!!! So glad you liked Connie’s wonderful inserts. They wear like iron, and organize us perfectly. . I also like how her inserts shape the NF so it doesn’t sag and drag. Plus she’s such a lovely person and so responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to see it in your escale NF - I bet the periwinkle is a great match!! Sorry you had a hectic week.I forgot to mention, it's been a little hectic in my household this week for various reasons I won't get into - but I got the beautiful bag organizer for my pastel NF !! It was so pretty with the matching mesh ribbon. I will post pics as soon as I can. Thank you again for the recommendation, I am so in love with it. Fits just as I wanted and the color is the best match.
Great question - it reads both ways. I think it’s blue but it looks great with purple. Here’s a quick pic next to a blue and a purple, maybe this will help. That’s one thing I love about these beautiful graduation of color in the pastel. It really goes with so many different colors. HTH!

. Huge companies have to plan everything months if not a few years in advance, materials, freight, manufacture, overhead, labor etc. so their costs are generally well known for a certain amount of time. Of course they have to increase prices sometimes to cover changes. I reasonably expect a yearly increase from all luxury houses. I also know that LV seems to sometimes artificially drive demand by increasing HTF pieces twice from their original in 6 months, like my rose MP and some other recent collections. Around $1540ish for the preorder, some weeks later $1660 (my price, and I love this bag) and now $1770. I would guess that is related to marketing strategy more than their actual costs. That bugs me, but I still bought it because I loved it. They didn’t do that with the escale collection yet, sounds like the 5th is the day.
And right now, the pandemic is likely increasing costs for everyone. And LV was the first house I know of to change 3 perfumeries‘ production lines to hand sanitizer production for medical personnel, donated, and then one atelier for masks and gowns, donated. So I’m trying to think of it as indirectly helping people. AND they gave all of us that wanted something to stalk and collect during our shelter at home. But I’m also glad I’m on LV pause for now and I can just enjoy all your lovelies without a price increase!!

Ours look quite different don’t they. My escale pieces look true to life color in my pics, and if yours do too there is some variation. I do think mine reads lavender in certain light, blue in others, and I like that. Like all the variations!! It’s a fun collection and I NEED color in my life on day 51 of shelter in place!
PS I thought of you today when I saw on the Hermes website they have a classic American car bag charm! Thought of you and your hubby. If you are interested search for petit h car charm. It just seemed so appropriate. And thank goodness they opened their distribution centers on Wednesday for shipping again after a month and a half of no ordering. I’m so thankful I had the escale collection to stalk during.

I want a bigger one bc this holds such a minimal amount. but also forces me to scale back, which I suppose is okay since I tend to bring the world with me in my bags. sigh. what's that saying about staying in your comfort zone and never growing. lol
I used it for a DMB concert this past fall, and it was just perfect.
security didn't have to open or poke or prod at all. a quick flash of the front and back and we were Gucci.

Thank you for the link. I think I'm going to get one as well. Thats so cool you were able to get a mini Pochette. I've been stalking the website for the Escale one. I'm sure eventually it will pop up. I wish they had made it in blue too. I think it's weird that they didn't since the other slg's come in both colors.
