I had to go back and read the thread. Wow. Given the state of everything right now, it is easier to let little things go. We all know that we may get some returns and in the current climate mistakes may happen.

On topic - This collection is making me want to leave ban island so bad... Even though we are all stuck at home and can't really use it - this collection is full of pretty things!

It is really a fun collection. Is it classic? No. Is it super wearable? No. But the bright colors are such a fun pop and are really nice to look at.

Especially right now - So tempted by the bandeaus and the kirigami set - fun little pops of color! I wish they sold the kirigami items separately. I would love to have a medium or small - hoping to score secondhand later.

May have to buy a bandeau or scarf today ...

My TP26 is my favorite so far (though I adore the shawl @karman got). I'm imagining myself carrying it to a casual beach dinner when travel is allowed again :girlsigh:

I was able to score the pastel shawl, which is so pretty! Can't wait to wear it... But the items from this collection are like candy - hard to have just one piece!

Hope you get your pastel NF! Those of us that got it tend to love it. I have one and am so glad I was able to snag along with a mini pochette. I saw early on AU website had scads of bags and slg’s in this collection. Good luck and fingers crossed!!

Yes, I remember seeing your post in the Escale club thread, and that's really what got me wanting the pareo stole/shawl again! Initially it was between the mini pochette and shawl (got the mini pochette), then between the Zoe and the shawl (got the Zoe) and in the end, got the shawl anyway....

I do wonder if that's why the price point is so high compared to other seasonals. I saw that the prices are actually on par with some of the monogram pop pieces (which is a completely redone canvas). With screenprinted items like the Christmas animation, you can use existing canvas and just print the design on...

Indeed, and even though many of us have gotten lovely escale items during a pandemic, I think most of us get at a deep level that some person in their warehouse is at potential risk by being at work and making this possible at all. And I appreciate that very much. Escale colors and pieces have been good for my mental health, and because LV changed over factories to make both sanitizer and protective masks to donate to health workers, I’m glad to support them right now, and I hope they are taking good care of all their employees, including the busy and likely overwhelmed folks doing the shipping and accepting returns. So yay for us, fingers crossed for LV’s people!!

Agreed, I really appreciate the businesses that are able to and choose to remain operational while keeping their employees safe in these tough times, so that we could still receive things that make us happy. If businesses are not able to keep their employees safe, I do hope that they willl make the right decision to temporarily suspend operations. Meanwhile, we can all do our part and cut some slack to those who are working in warehouses, customer service, cashiers, delivery, etc... after all, I have the luxury of working from home, but they don't!

I don’t think so. Last years colorful Giant collection & the jungle weren’t screen printed. I think they just raise prices because they want to & the market seems to bear it. Not sure if they’ll continue going forward, hopefully we won’t see anymore price increases anytime soon with all that’s going on!
