Chinese New Year outfit!

View attachment 3591127
Burberry top, I've gotten great wear out of this! Surprising because this was my first foray into wearing reds.
AG jeans, sooo comfy
Louboutin flats
D&B bag, which match the flats
Tiffany key in titanium. Didn't know they discontinued this!

Chelsea boots would be great with this outfit! I think they'd go well with shorter skirts and tights.

I am waiting for my birthday for anything big.

I've been eying VCA, debating if I like Cartier (not the love or the just en clou), looking at Rolex/Omega, looking at custom LV leather bags, looking at elaborate Chanel (but DBF hates them), and hemming and hawing over splurging on a Chanel jacket.

But I am fickle at wearing my jewelry. We go through TSA like security at work, and I don't want to set off any detectors. A glance at the colors available at LV haven't grabbed me, so perhaps more time examining leather and colors is needed.

I love the idea of a blinged out Chanel flap, but DBF does not like Chanel unless it's from London. He also thinks the jacket is absurdly expensive, and it would require me to sell off my older, cheaper tweed in favor and justification of a Chanel one.

But perhaps by summer sales I'll be inclined to replace key items, such as the Zara skirts and Burberry tops. Then maybe I'll figure out what I want for my 30th birthday lol.

Am completely open to suggestions lol. [emoji4]

Lucky girl! When I turned 30 about a million years ago, Chanel was something old women wore and LV was, what my then spoiled sister kept getting for every possible opportunity. I couldn't care less about designer clothes, only had a few, that I still have. Burberry coat, Omega watch, some Tiffany jewelry. How times have changed!
I like that you're willing to invest in quality and classic pieces. Accessories are great for a big birthday. I don't quite understand, why Chanel has to be from London for your DH? It's cheaper in Europe than in the US, but more so if you pay in Euros. I do understand the hesitation about the Chanel jacket, though. I couldn't justify the price, and I wouldn't want a classic jacket that is so classic it would still fit me 30 years from now.
Get something you enjoy now, that fits you and your lifestyle and doesn't break the bank, I'd say. Can't wait to see it!

The three you have, Burberry jacket, Omega watch, Tiffany jewelry are things I got prior to this birthday! And I absolutely love them.

Chanel in London is cheaper than here, and the service is much better. It's rare for me to get good service in Chanel here, they're snooty and rude to us for some reason. I have to come in carrying Hermes bags for any one to help me.

Haha, I would only want a jacket in black. That's the only way to justify the price because I could wear it for years like the Burberry.

I'm budgeting $8-10k for this item(s). [emoji33] the largest budget ever. Which is why I'm staying banned as long as possible to justify spending that much at one go.

And I'm hoping the ban helps me identify what I want most. Lol

I've been wearing things in my closet, but I ended up buying a dressier blouse for an upcoming conference.

That'll make its debut for my mini travel set in a few weeks. :)

But here's a recent outfit I don't think I've shared yet

Uniqlo merino wool cardigan, wears fantastically and is machine washable!
TB polo, wears terribly btw. :( will not rebuy this.
Zara skirt
LV bracelet & flats

Current closet counts:

75 clothes, 16 shoes.

My shoes went up a bit as I bought some flip flops and sandals today. [emoji28]

I'm also not wearing everything. I either don't fit or it doesn't fit in for work (too formal or too casual). :/ might have to consider letting go of some things.

16 pairs of shoes? You're my hero!
I have 16 pairs of boots alone, and that's just a fraction of the total. I'm so banned...
You are truly the master of capsule wardrobing.

I like the uniqlo gray cardi

I don't know how to repair cardigans. There's a small tear but it's hidden by my hair lol.

Yes I have 16. I used to have 50+ before KonMarie-ing my closet.

I do have a lot of accessories though. I don't photo that often because it's the most expensive stuff lol.

I wonder if I can get it smaller but that'll happen when it can. I'm not going to force myself to have less things when I actually like everything right now lol.
