It's also like day one in my capsule and I dislike my uniqlo white blouse. It's too big.

Need to either go down a size or not wear long sleeves. Sleeves are too long, the length is too long.

This will be donated.

No problem! [emoji4]

I'm almost regretting not showing DBF the full line when it came out stateside. Lol he might have bought me more. [emoji28]

And ugh, online shopping sucks. It says it's my size but compared to my old ones it's one size smaller! [emoji36] so out of 4 things I ordered, 3 had to go back. The 4th I'm keeping simply because I had reordered one when it got cheaper. But good thing I kept the first one, one was in better condition than the other!

Never again will I shop online unless it's a super deal! Such a hassle to return, on top of the waiting for delivery.

So my last in is a black burberry polo.

No more shopping or ins until my birthday. Such a long two months from now. [emoji30]

That is the frustrating thing about online shopping - not seeing the specific item you'd be buying and tricky sizes. Returns are a hassle, but it's just so easy - too easy!! - to shop online in the comfort of my home! At least you got one cute top that you like - I really like it!

Seriously frustrating. First the shoes were cut too short and narrow, now the jeans not even the same size. Ugh.

No more online shopping for me. It's probably best.

Don't get discouraged! You're just starting with your work wardrobe. Give it a few days, then you'll know what works and what doesn't and you'll be able to get exactly what you need. Btw, how's it going in your new job?

Going well. Big learning curve so I'm going to be in training for awhile.

I will continue to wear my capsule wardrobe and edit it along the way. Haha. As long as I can make 5 outfits for the week, I'll be fine.

But wow do I dislike long sleeves. Haha. My arms are too short! I definitely will replace/add a couple short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve blouses to my wardrobe.

And I remember why I didn't wear blouses a lot. I need to iron them. Or get a steamer.

Updated my capsule.

Since the white blouse had too many issues
I replaced it with my black polo. Polos are for casual Friday.

I found out dresses and skirts are ok! But I always wear stockings so I'll see if that's something I want to do while it's still hot.

Also took out one bag. I'm just going to carry one bag for work. It's a dedicated work bag.

The hard part will be scheduling dry cleaning. @-@ gotta get stuff that's machine washable!

I have been routinely looking at my wardrobe and determining if anything is necessary or redundant.

So I have sold a Burberry puffer jacket! I figured my trenches with the liner easily suffice for travel jackets, the purpose of the puffer in question.

So I sold off this jacket since I now have plenty of trenches that better fit me and my style.

I like this slow refining now, letting go of things, replacing if necessary with something better. [emoji4]

I give up on bans.

My new job means I could wear dresses and skirts!

So I've gotten a pair of brogue shoes, a Kate Spade tee, Ted Baker dress, and a Halogen tweed cape in the past couple days.

Considering this bag as my work bag in rotation with my Michael Kors bag. I'd bring some of my not obvious bags like my DE speedy but I don't want to put it on an x-Ray belt and my drawer doesn't lock either (or I haven't figured it out).

Ted Baker wrap dress. DVF wrap dress doesn't work on me :( but this one is really flattering and isn't so cleavagy.

Kate Spade Broome Street Tee. So comfy. I want more of these to replace my uniqlo ones.

Melrose and Market (Nordstrom brand?) wingtip oxfords. I've wanted these style shoes forever! For $50 I can't complain. It's comfy!

So my first week at work and my first week in my work capsule.

It seems like there isn't a strict business dress code. I see shirts and skirts, it's all about being appropriate. So no short skirts, no cleavage, all conservative, work appropriate clothing.

Honestly, quite a contrast from the old work place where cleavage from certain ladies was a daily occurrence with form hugging everything.

Hence my confusion as to what I should wear, I want to be professional but not dowdy or inappropriate.

Here's the week's outfits, which will most likely be recycled as I work this capsule. I will most likely just add more of my jewelry, which seems to be okay. None of my jewelry is particularly flashy.

Though, I think all my blouses are okay, just no tees. I can also wear my skirts and dresses with a cardigan. Kind of excited about this revelation. Haha.

And with a new, discreet bag (Longchamp from previous post), I feel that I can be somewhat stylish but not flashy.
