I'm terrible. I only managed like 7 days on ban island and I want to order a jacket from Zara.

ETA: window closed. Not buying the Zara jacket. I can do this. I have so many jackets. I need to sell some before I buy more.

Because honestly, who needs this many jackets in SoCal?

Is it weird that I do the KonMarie fold for my underwear and stockings? Haha. It actually helps me.

I'll check ikea! I wish they were see through though. I want to see my fab dresses, but protect them from snags.

The Ikea dust bags I bought aren't clear - I don't recall if they had clear ones or not. They had a lovely lilac and that's what I chose. The Container Store probably has clear dust bags.

I got the shoes and they are absolutely gorgeous!!!
The leather is so nice. It's part calf and the toe is patent. Usually Ferragamos I find are in patent only now, so to smell this amazing leather is a treat.

I also got my Burberry polo, but I'll have to wait for the cheaper one to come in before I return the more expensive one. Haha.
I also have a pair of jeans coming in as well.

But I haven't added to my wardrobe since last Friday. It's been 7 days on ban island. @_@

The Ikea dust bags I bought aren't clear - I don't recall if they had clear ones or not. They had a lovely lilac and that's what I chose. The Container Store probably has clear dust bags.

I'll check them out, I think I'd prefer a primarily clear bag, just so I can see what's inside. I'm very visual I have to see what I own otherwise I forget.

Two more packages arrive next week then nothing until September

As some know, I am starting a new job next week, and the documentation I signed indicate a slightly more formal dress code than my previous job. Essentially casual vs business casual.

I've decided to work a capsule wardrobe to see what works at the new place and to itemize what I deem business casual appropriate from what I have. This capsule will help determine what I may need to replace in September when my ban is over. Or emphasize I have more than enough clothing.



Dressy trousers, simple accessories, discreet bags, and blouses.

I think I'll stick to the capsule for at least two months. Will update if I go crazy wearing the same things lol.

ETA: Mom said my new Ferragamos look too narrow so now it's bothering me. [emoji27] I'm going to either exchange for a different size or just return them. Sadly, negative feedback on items makes me dislike them pretty quickly. Like "not a good color" "unflattering" "too big/too small".
But it does help me from settling on an item I suppose.

Mom also vetoed the Ted Baker dress. I'll see if I can find a skirt instead when I return it at the rack. Skirts I can wear to work so even better CPW.

I ended up returning the flats and getting a Chanel scarf.



And i got this fortune,

So I asked DBF jokingly what he'd get me.
He ended up getting me this pouch because he liked the whole Chanel Airlines stuff.


So happy.

And mom went to the rack and found me kids uggs on super sale. Since it didn't fit her, she got them for me! Haha.

Idk where I'll wear uggs but they're really cute.

Love the scarf, the pouch, and the fortune!! Those Uggs are too cute! I'm able to buy kids size shoes sometimes, too - the advantage of being short . I'd say wear them around the house during cold weather for sure! Wear them for coffee or cocoa runs in the winter!

The fortune was great. haha. It was totally meant to be.
And I love wearing kids shoes! So much cheaper. haha. I always check for anything that I could pull off. Surprisingly, there's some mature looking shoes for kids.
I'll water proof spray the uggs so I can wear them during coffee runs during whatever winter we get here! haha.

I'm almost regretting not showing DBF the full line when it came out stateside. Lol he might have bought me more. [emoji28]

And ugh, online shopping sucks. It says it's my size but compared to my old ones it's one size smaller! [emoji36] so out of 4 things I ordered, 3 had to go back. The 4th I'm keeping simply because I had reordered one when it got cheaper. But good thing I kept the first one, one was in better condition than the other!

Never again will I shop online unless it's a super deal! Such a hassle to return, on top of the waiting for delivery.

So my last in is a black burberry polo.


No more shopping or ins until my birthday. Such a long two months from now. [emoji30]
