Hoping the weather will be somewhat cooperative.

I'd like to get as much of my items below $100 cost per wear by the end of the year.

This means really planning my outfits the night before, which I've been slacking on for awhile. Which is also why there's repeat outfits and why I've not updated often.

So here goes! Lowering cpw!

I like the idea! I’ve created a folder on Stylebook with clothes I need to wear more often, that’s a similar approach I guess. It’s tough with special things like belts or shoes that only seem to go with a certain outfit or very colorful or patterned clothes that I don’t want to repeat too often at the office.
Can’t wait to hear about your endeavors!

It's accessories that I'm having trouble with, along with cold weather items.

There's no excuse on the scarves and jewelry. I've just been lazy.

But I also don't want to repeat often but I may have to. Not like it matters in my office lol. I'm the only one with such an extensive wardrobe.

The weather I can't figure out. It'll cool down to 50F then shoot back up to 90F the next day. [emoji58] That's one of my excuses on not wearing silk scarves lol.

Same here. I should really wear my brooches more often, but brooches and necklaces kind of seem to exclude each other and I love my nnecklaces so much!
You’ll be fine with scarves once it gets colder. It’s only October.

It’s cooler now! Enough to wear my jacket when I walk outside before work and after work to and from the car. [emoji23] I’ll take what I can get to lower the cpw for my jackets.
I love that black cutout skirt and how you style it. The colors on outfit four are gorgeous! Already fall like and it’s nice how the sleeves and the pattern on the skirt go together. Good job!

Thank you!

You’re a fan of my one Max Mara item!
I’m surprised how well the J crew black skirt goes with a lot of things. I thought the cutout would make it too difficult to mix with other things.

That IS funny! I just now remember it’s Max Mara, but of course, we did talk about it! I guess I like when something has a bit of detail to it, like the black skirt.

Yes, I have to get skirts with some detail so I don’t look like I’ve taken half a suit or I’m wearing a uniform lol.

I’m patiently waiting for the Max Mara sales at the end of Christmas to find my blouse before my ban haha.

Weekend outfits

I feel I don’t have many weekend outfits since I don’t want to wear the same work skirts on the weekend.

So here’s maxi dresses with a jacket lol

Bought this dress last month from Old Navy for $3. Figured it could transition to fall enough for the weekends.

When it gets colder for tights, then I can wear my shorter skirts with tights and my booties.

There is the formula that involves trousers and jeans but since I’ve switched to dresses and skirts I don’t quite like wearing jeans and trousers that much anymore. Lol but I might have to just for some variety, and that these dresses won’t be warm enough.

That’s all the weekend outfit formulas I have. [emoji28]

Have you tried looser fitting pants? They might make you feel more comfortable if you generally like dresses better, and you will be warmer.

I haven’t because I feel much shorter when I’ve tried them on. I’ve got ones with some stretch to give some comfort (no more heavy denim anymore!) but the legs are where I feel constricted.

I think there’s pants that I sometimes think is a skirt. Maybe I could try those. But that’s a lot of fabric for a short person lol.
