No! Don’t remove it. This is a great post. I’m impressed with how you brought it all together. Love the earrings and I’m generally not a fan of those clips but your matches the dress so perfectly, I don’t know how you managed that! And the purse remains TDF. You are going to look so elegant.

I'm actually not a fan of the clips either but the moment I saw that one... I thought how can it be a match?! And the fact it looks less plasticky, if that makes sense. Before that I was thinking of putting some flowers in my hair but all of the hair ornaments just looked either cheap, too fussy or like I was a bride. Real flowers would have been too difficult to accomplish.

I am happy to hear you like my finds! It's so difficult to know sometimes whether what you've found is in good taste or whether you got blinded by the stress of feverishly trying to put an outfit together. :sweatdrop:

Oh I hope I will actually get that handbag!! The shop says they have shipped it (finally) on Tuesday but tracking shows no-one has actually picked it up... Supposed to arrive on Monday or Tuesday but I doubt it. I am also still waiting for the hairclip (well, I actually ordered two, a big and a small one just to see which one is better) and I think that either should've already been here or will arrive any moment. I find it extremely troubling that lately all my online purchases have either gone without any updates for over a week after leaving the countries they were sent from or like in the case of the handbag, no other tracking updates than the first one stating it will be picked up by the courier. Sigh... I might end up going to this event without a bag and my hair tied up with whatever...

Update: Hairclip(s) arrived, I was clearly too pessimistic about my hair volume as the bigger clip works only just... If I had any thicker hair, it would be too small. But good quality, absolutely! Not sure what to do with the smaller clip... I've never used a smaller claw clip for just part of the hair.

Also, that darling handbag is on its way!! I was too hasty but the wonderful merchant explained to me the process and frequency of scans. It is going to be here next week!

I have finally received my beautiful bag and I love it!

I am still however not able to find shoes... It's the plantar fasciitis that's stopping me of buying any shoes I'd like, I have to think of arch support and soft heel cups etc. and the possibility of being able to take away the insole of a shoe and replace it with my custom made ones.

I have been considering these by Camper but you cannot remove the insole and not sure if they are very tight. Also, if I just slap the insole on top of the existing one, will it be too high to stay on my foot...

Then there's the ugly and not very festive Sketchers that might be really comfortable but... I might not even need to add anything to these but they're not leather which is a bit of a bummer.

And the most beautiful - and the most expensive ones - from shoes I've found so far are these sandals from Vionic. They make shoes that are basically orthotic sandals but pretty ones. Sadly they don't have any regular shoes to offer.

I was always planning on wearing tights/pantyhose even though I hate them but if I get these sandals, I might skip them regardless of etiquette. I'm still hoping to find nice mary janes with a bit of heel that I can wear not only at parties but also whenever I want to wear smart looking shoes but finding ones that are suitable for someone with heel pain is difficult, especially since I need to find these in Europe - and fast.

I have foot problems and foot pain too and I can sympathize with you.
I think if the Sketchers are good for your feet you should choose these shoes!! For me the most important thing is to feel good!! And I like the style of these Sketchers, they aren't ugly at all!
Congrats to your beautiful new bag!
