How have y'alls Lana bags (older version with feet) held up through use?

Nano size- why is the included pouch too large to fit inside the bag without stretching it? I was told that it would fit inside the bag without stretching it... I am disappointed that I cannot nicely fit a pouch at 16cm inside it or else it is quite a nice size bag-- small but enough space to fit daily essentials plus a little extra. The corners around the bottom are getting.. wrinkly (kind of like from a dog).

Midi- There are some awkward sag wrinkles from using the zip pouch, which makes me disappointed. There are also wrinkle rolls at the bottom on all four corners. How do I prevent these wrinkles, or over time, will wrinkles from all over the bag blend in together?

I'm sorry, I'm not too familiar with bucket bags, and the one round one that I have hasn't had this problem. I do not intend to complain, but I am curious of what I can realistically expect of the wear and tear of these through more continuous use.

Thanks everyone for reading~

I purchased the Midi Lana Bucket Bag during Strathberry's sale and really like the size of it. I think it's perfect for essentials + a lot of room for a little more, for days/weeks when that kind of flexibility can be helpful.

Even though I generally prefer a zipper or flap closure, I actually like this bag without them - it does give it a more casual look that I prefer for a bucket bag, and it also allows the hardware the shine. The strap configuration confused me a little but after fiddling with it a bit I was able to figure out how it can be both a shoulder bag and extended to crossbody, so I appreciate the versatility.

I snapped a quick picture of the inside - I use Stashio cloth organizers, which have some structure but have some give built into them, and was able to fit them comfortably (with room to spare on all sides) along with a pouch for cosmetics/hygienic products.

How has your tote held up over the years? Have you noticed any sag in the leather? I am not sure if I have been mistreating it (I don't feel like I have gone out of my way to do that..) or if this is something to be expected of this bag..

I have the large and just bought two midis from the Edinburgh store today. I love the bag. Yes it sags but in fairness - you really can’t expect it not to given the nature of the bag. I usually prefer structured bags but the new lanas are just too “cool” for me, I love the refined elegant slouch of the old ones.

I keep my large WELL stuffed during it’s off season (it’s burgundy so I use it in AW). I also have a bag stand you find in stores to hold it upright without stretching it.

My only gripe is the lining isn’t fixed to the bottom of the bag and can be pulled out. That’s a bit cheap for me.

I think the sagging is why they discontinued it. It’s a very slouchy bag and the feet are a bit useless. You just gotta love it for what is I’ve told myself!

I bought my first strathberry bag a month ago, the Lana osette bucket bag. I got it in the all vanilla colour and love it! The quality is superb for its price point, comparable to the higher end brands. I was told by the SA that the bag was crafted by only one artisan and I even got it signed off by them personally on a separate tag that came attached with the bag. Very impressed that I have now also added the nano tote to my collection. Their customer service is also excellent.

I purchased a red Lana midi Bucket and the quality of the bag is stunning. The leather feels very nice and the hardware is top-notch.

I think the leather may be the same finish as your Osette. Would you have a recommendation for a leather conditioner or other leather care product that I could apply to protect it from rain? I have never had such smooth calfskin (feeling reminds of Longchamp's Roseau 2021), and worry about moisture and occasional raindrops because I live in a very humid and rainy climate.

I purchased the midi tote quilted black/vanilla in 2018. It was part of the SS collection that year. Stunning and excellent quality. One day I hope to get the bottle green as well. I wanted the ruby too but last time I looked I didn’t see ruby on their website so it might be discontinued or maybe they just didn’t do it this season.

Sad update about my red Lana.
One of the hardware rings fell out on the third day of wearing it... I was in shock, did not expect that from such a good quality brand.
I contacted the company and they offered to repair the ring, so I have sent the bag back after not even getting familiar with it. I accepted the repair, but later turned out that their shop in Spain is closed until September (wow).
They were super apologetic in the emails, and I really liked the bag so I accepted my fate of waiting forever for it to come back.
They offered 10% discount (after me asking for some perk...), so there is that.
If you are thinking of purchasing Lana - be aware of the ring problem.

So sorry to hear about your bag. I have a different bag to you - it's the Lana osette mini and fortunately it's still holding up quite well. Absolutely love my bag! Good to know customer service were able to reach a solution for you, despite the wait. I think a lot of the leather artisans go on summer holidays during this time and don't go back to work until September.

I’ve been interested in exploring this brand so a couple months ago I picked up the Lana Osette Pouch in Burgundy. I’m a mini bag person especially for nights out, and want to bring the most possible in a tiny bag. I’m really happy with this purchase. The leather is a really nice and soft pebbled leather than looks like will last a long time. Because this is a drawstring pouch it can fit a lot more than you’d expect, it’s deceivingly small. It can fit a phone, small wallet, a lipstick, hand sanitizer, keys and a couple of other small items. The strap is not adjustable which may bother some people. I can put this on for a night out and basically forget it’s there but it’s secure by my side especially with the closure. No one where I live carries Strathberry or seems to know about the brand at all. I’ve also been eyeing the Lana Osette (next size up from the pouch). I don’t carry a ton on a day to day basis but the slouchy pouch structure fits a lot. Love the look of that bag from the previous poster’s pics! I’m going to look out and see if I can get it on sale!

Anyone here has a Crescent shoulder? Do you have an organizer you use with the bag? This is my first purchase in this price range. My prior purse was MZ Wallace so I'm used to having my things organized. Alternatively, are there any Etsy shops you would recommend that might do a custom order organizer. Many thanks .

Does anyone have a Strathberry east west with silver hardware?? I was looking specifically for the black or light grey with silver hardware can’t find them anywhere!! Really would like to purchase one
