I really like the look of the Midi Tote, so elegant. But, I am concerned about the way the bag closes with the bar flapping over it. Does anyone find this a nuisance or are you finding it not to be a problem? Posting pic to show example
Hi there! I have two Strathberry bags, the first was the Midi Tote in bottle green and the second is a Mini Ace. I’ve been carrying both frequently and have not encountered any issues with wear on the top handle of my Tote. I do find it easy to access while wearing shoulder or crossbody carry. I do occasionally place at twilly on the handle just to change up the look of the bag. I definitely recommend the bag as well as the company.

My wife frequently uses this bag for work and agree with @Sparty95 in that she does not find the handle annoying nor has it shown any wear. It’s a well made bag especially for the price, however I do think (as I’ve mentioned earlier in the thread) that the hardware is a bit cheap feeling.
I picked up a Strathberry Nano Tote in Black with Gold Print & a Heart Key Chain in Embossed Croc Black for my 50th Birthday.
They we’re both on discount and the nano tote was the last one available on the website. I’m very happy with my purchase.
The leather on the bag is divine and the gold print reminds me of a bag I had when I was in college that was a painted design.

I am eyeing a Strathberry bag which is in quite a classic colour and style (doesn't seem to be a special colour combination for the season). Does anyone know whether Strathberry does discounts on their classic bag colourways? Or discounts can pretty much be found in seasonal colours only? Does anyone have some insight? 
I definitely saw some more classic colors and styles on sale last Black Friday and right after the holiday season! I actually picked up a Lana Midi in a nice tan on sale, and I've spotted the mini and full-size East/West in some classic shades on sale (the embossed options in particular, if I'm remembering correctly). I wonder if this is considered a classic because the East West Mini in Vanilla is definitely a classic but the full size hasn't always been there. But I think it is very likely to be considered to be a classic colour. Obviously I would like to get a good discount, but I wonder what's a realistic discount to aim for. (i.e. I probably can't expect a classic colourway to go 30% off(?) But perhaps a discount more than 10% is possible..?) Hope that makes sense and thank you for your help!!
I think the classic colors stayed around 10-20% off! I did notice that Strathberry would ultimately mark down seasonal colors significantly more (especially deep into winter) to 30% or beyond, but the classics and classic embossed options wouldn't really change.Thanks for the insight! I just learned about this brand. Thank you to the poster in another thread who mentioned Strathberry. So far, I like every design I've seen online. Their aesthetic is right up my alley.
