Storing shoes?

How do you store your expensive/ high heels? In the box? On a shoe rack?
Also my shoes have stuffing for the toe area but how do you support the straps or heel area (if it's a higher back?)
See how it flops over after being in the box a while?

So I have a pair of Gucci Ave High-Top sneakers (yes, I am fully aware these are not heels). However, when I store them, I put stuffing in the toe to help keep its shape, in each individual dust bag, in the box. I’d imagine with the style of your shoes and the way the strap is at the ankle, you should be able to put some of the packaging from the box in them to keep shape. I can’t remember where I saw it, but there is “heel shapers” that are basically like a plastic shaper for your shoes. They go in like your foot would essentially. If I find them, I will post a link for you

Would heel shapers be high enough? It's the top part by the ankle that got floppy
