Sticker removal and polishing.

Hello all who removes the stickers off their hardware after like 3 -4 months ?
I removed mine but wondering if I made the right decision . I have yghw and it is a birkin . I took the stickers off but now I feel like I may have got a fingerprint in it and wanted to remove some of the stickiness but someone said not to use a jewelry cloth to wipe it because it will cause hairline scratches so do I not touch it ? Should I put some other stickers on it and shouldn’t have removed it ? It looks shinier now but if I scratch it up I guess it won’t look nice

So much info here on this topic, as QF mentioned. I’ve written about it here.

The way I see it, if you leave the stickers on the hardware, you might as well just leave the bag in its dustbag, leave the dustbag in the box, and wrap the box in cellophane. These are well-made bags; they are made to be used.
