Hello! I currently have a Stella Mccartney Falabella bag. I’ve had it for a year so far, and I wanted to know, for those of you who have it it longer, how is the wear and tear? Any peeling?

Hi all - just wanted to share my little Stella family - the Falabella small tote is hands down my favorite bag. I have two of them - the light gray, which I'm currently using, and a limited edition one from the Beatles collection. On that one the medallion has the Stella logo on one side and the Beatles logo and yellow submarine on the other. Plus the wording on it, which is All Together Now in multiple languages is actually stitched into the bag. Absolutely love it. I also have two Stella wallets - the small Falabella flap wallet in green and the continental wallet in the Alter Nappa (the stars are black velvet). Debating if I want to get the foldover tote at some point or just get another small tote, but will definitely be adding to my Stella collection.

Has anyone ever tried putting a bag organizer in their falabella? Cos I LOVE it!!
When I first got the idea, it felt like it got me an entirely new bag! :yahoo:
At the moment, I only have soft beauty cases or cardboard shopping bags to provisonally put inside, cos I don't own a felt bag organizer (yet).

But I'm planning on ordering one soon (or when the isolation situation has become more steady) - I assume the Speedy 30 bag organizer would fit best?
Just wanted to share my excitement for figuring out this falabella hack. Yay or nay? :P
Hey Kadelle,
have you try it with an organizer in the meantime? And maybe a photo of it? I'm thinking of selling such a thing, but I'm not really sure, if it's suitable.:hrmm:

Hi ladies! Can you help me authenticate this falabella tote I just got in from therealreal? There is no tag anywhere in the interior that I have found. Thanks a bunch! :)

There is no white tag anywhere attached to the bag. Should there be?
I have a few Stella bags. The two chain bag has the tag inside the small zip pocket. The tag will give you the season and year the bag was made. Maybe the tag was cut off ? Flip the pocket out and double check.

I do have a small crossbody stella that doesn't have any tags inside.

Despite the lack of the tag, from the pics you posted, it looks real.

I’ve been carrying my Falabella crossbody for years and I have to say it’s my favorite bag ever. It’s very versatile and can easily be dressed up or down.

Some people sneer at this bag because it’s quite expensive for non-leather, but the quality is excellent. No wear and tear problems. The material and chain are very durable, and my husband found it hard to believe that this isn’t real leather.

Side note: If anyone here has a Stella logo camera bag, what are your thoughts on that?

There are lots of bags that have zero leather that are similar pricing or higher. I think the difference is they're sold as "nylon", "canvas" or "raffia" where as the Stella bags are sold as "vegan leather". I think that's what gets the negative response rather than it just not being made of leather.

As far as marketing goes, “vegan leather” sounds way sexier than “pleather”! LOL.

True but perhaps faux leather might be better. Vegan sort of fits into a religious/political debate scenario in my experience so I feel using that to label the material has a negative slant from the get go. Where as nylon or canvas even if cost way more don't get the same negative reaction to the price.

Hi everyone,

I’m considering buying a mini falabella tote in light grey. I’ve loved the style of the bag and how versatile it is for years. Such a beautiful bag!

Before deciding whether to buy the bag I just wanted to know what the wear and tear of it is like? Has anyone experienced any issues with the whipstitching around the chain or tarnishing of the chain for example? If so did SM offer to repair the bag? I have a couple of Mulberry’s and I’m used to dealing with them for repairs with great customer service. I can’t seem to find any info on SM website about their warranty or repairs policy?

In addition to this does the grey ever go in the sale or is it more seasonal colours?

I don’t tend to sell my bags on and would like to know if there have been any issues before taking the plunge and spending the money. Thanks very much
