I have more elegant and expensive taste.
My favorite pieces are Love and JaC braceletes, Alhambra - so everything that is quite classic.
I don't really like thin chain bracelets and I like the solid shape of Clic H and Love bracelets. Of course, Love is just an etalon of a bracelet for me, but not affordable for a moment
TBH There isn’t a substitute for your favorite pieces at that price point. 1000 does not purchase luxury branded jewelry. I would suggest saving more funds and adding either a VCA Alhambra necklace or love ring. You keep mentioning bracelets and your going to need at least 4K to start for th‘em. Also I would recommend to stop buying costume jewelry as short term fix. The money you spend can go towards your savings for your first luxury piece.

I agree with all this but would say that €1000 is around the price (or a little less with the currency conversion?) of a Love ring (thin version), so since OP talks about eventually buying a Love bracelet and clearly likes the Love aesthetic, her budget could get her a starter piece from this collection.

There aren’t many luxury branded pieces in this price range but there are a couple to consider.

I also really like another poster’s suggestion regarding the VCA Sweet Alhambra line. A little over €1000 could mean a Sweet Alhambra pendant which is pretty on its own or layered:

You will struggle to get ‘iconic’ in that price range (at least in 18k gold or platinum rather than silver), but there are some accessible pieces by luxury brands such as Cartier, Tiffany & Co and Gucci in the £500-£1000 bracket.

I don’t know your taste but Cartier’s smaller model Trinity, Love and JUC rings fall around the £1k or just above mark. I have attached some links below:-

Cartier Trinity ring (small model) - I have this one and it looks great and as big as I’d personally want to go with a three band ring on my finger - £880:

Cartier Love wedding band - £1010:

Cartier JUC SM ring - £1070:

Can you tell us a little more about your personal style? What metal colour do you favour? Do you like dainty pieces or favour a bolder look?
I love this because it thinks of the poster’s preferences versus personal taste. There are great suggestions. rather than insult of or push to go beyond her budget.

I definitely wasn’t trying to insult OP or push to spend above her budget. I already had recommended the love ring in previous post. Was trying to offer insight as one who owns several of the items she wants that there simply isnt a substitute. That way to acquire is to save and plan as we do for the items you truly want.

Having read through the entire thread, I think everyone makes excellent points and suggestions.

I think it's important to look into the OP (like @foxgal previously stated).

"STATUS JEWELRY UNDER 1000 EURO"
Hi everyone!
I'm starting this thread because I would like to know your opinion - I want like to create a small luxury jewellery collection that is quite versatile, and a kind of a statement status, but affordable
I do not have a budget for Alhambra, Messika or Cartier yet, but still would like to get something iconic and recognisable.
My only one idea is Hermes Clic H bracelet - I can find it on VC for a good price and it looks very chic...
I also have Chanel CC earrings for evening, but have to repair them every 3 month, they just break and loose all the crystals...

Are there some other pieces that you can recommend me, that look expensive, but do not cost over 1000 EUR?
Earrings, necklaces, rings?

Thank you in advance !

After re-reading the thread and going back to the OP to re-read again.

There is nothing wrong with liking or wanting any kind of luxury item, even if it outside of our budgets. We all do, that is why we are here!

Putting aside what can be squeezed into a 1000 euro budget; I think there are a few things to consider:

1) Why do you like/want a specific piece (ie. Love, JUC, VCA Alhambra)?
- Is it because it's recognizable? Is it because it's from an expensive luxury house? Is it because you see on social media?
(there are many well made fine jewelry brands besides what's on social media. And as for having a statement piece, custom-made pieces from your local jeweler can be the the most special and unique piece in a collection)

2) Do you have to have it now?
- Are you okay with waiting and saving more to get something that is on the higher end?

3) Are you going to be satisfied with buying a fine jewelry piece within your current budget? Or will you still want those higher priced items?

You don't need to answer these questions on this thread if you don't want to. These questions are to help you think and reflect. It's important to be honest and realistic with yourself.

I had the love bracelet on my wishlist I think for a good 4 years. I knew it was not within my budget at the time so I just waited. I will tell you, I almost settled. By the 4th year of waiting, I walked into the store to try on the small (thinner) love bracelet, because I was starting to get impatient, and was pretty ready to buy it that day. But when my SA put the small love on my wrist, I felt very underwhelmed. :sad:It did not spark joy in me. I then tried on the regular Love, and OMG, my heart was set on it. I knew it was the one. But I wasn't ready for that price tag yet. I meant to buy it as a milestone bday present for myself + a job promotion at the beginning of the year, but I was not comfortable pulling the trigger just yet. So I waited for about half a year. And then, I walked in and bought it. I am glad that I waited.

I don't recommend a clic clac bracelet. They are bulky, and the finish on them scratches VERY easily. Once the plating wears off you have a very expensive piece of basically unwearable costume jewelry. Hermes will not refinish it, it cannot be polished to look new again and frankly, they are not easy to style IMO.
Mine is literally a heavy paperweight now that never sees the light of day. I cant even remember the last time I wore it.

Seriously. no clue.

I know you don't want to hear it, but it is better to find one piece that you ABSOLUTELY LOVE ( regardless of the price ) and then save money until you can pay for it in full. Yes it is no fun, but unless you have a money tree, it is best to not spend it on " filler items"

I would never recommend buying something for hundreds or thousands of Euros that you will " like" and will be " good enough" but in the back of your mind you really wanted something else. If I wanted a 5 motif alhambra, I would rather have one 5 motif alhambra bracelet than 10 pieces at 500euro that are nice enough but I will always think in my head " it is nice but it will never be a 5 motif alhambra bracelet ".

Investing in fine jewelry ( 18K gold or platinum and well made) is hard but worth the effort. We work too hard though to waste hundreds of euros on things that are not what we actually want. Jewelry is a purchase for enjoyment. NONE of it is a necessity. Frankly no one really cares what we wear. It is best to only spend our money on something we really love.

I have never ever ever looked at my love bracelet and thought to myself that I should have bought something less expensive. I wear it 24/7 and it makes me smile when I see it, even today. Buy something amazing once and wear it for 20 years instead of buying 10 " good enough" things one at at time every few years and 20 years later you still wanted the one thing you loved but you have spent more than the cost would have been of the one thing you wanted to begin with.

The duchess Kate Middleton wears a lot of Kiki McDonough jewelry.
If you can save up to get diamond hoops, you can add the drops and get a real luxury look.
They are a contemporary brand that has been set in the spotlight because of Kate.
I have a few pieces from them, and the earrings are a great look.

Otherwise, a small status band from a trusted reseller is a good way to go.

I would get a DBTY from Brian Gavin. I loved the look of Tiffany's and his design for this necklace is stunning. My first DBTY from him was around .3 ct and my mother bought a .5 ct one. I am not petite and preferred her necklace. This was in 2016 and still love them, esp layered now.

I then fell in love with a preloved one that someone was selling on Pricescope. That one is a yellow gold ball chain with a .75 ct diamond. That is my favorite.

BG has a trade up policy, if interested look into it and get a lower color stone so you can move up on the color and ct if you would ever want to go bigger in the future.

Here is one ex of a stone that he currently has:
https://www.briangavindiamonds.com/0.312-i-vs2-signature-round-ags-104116842012 - stone is $677
https://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamond-jewelry/diamond-pendants/4-prong-fixed-pendant-7456 chain is $475
The bezel one looks similar to T's but it is more expensive:
And, I do not see the hand made bezel that is not the "barbara." The back on the "barbara" one is different than mine.

They also have coupons and a wire discount. So, you would be close to $1k and have an opportunity to upgrade in the future.

Here is T's to compare:

If you did want a brand that you mentioned, you could do a Cartier cord bracelet that would be chic and iconic. I recently saw people posting different colors and looked into the bracelet. It seems that you can change your cord out for free. That is enticing since it may make it look like a different bracelet when the cord gets changed.

If I had to pick, I would get the necklace since it gets more attention than a bracelet. GL deciding.

Make no compromise, save the money until you can buy what you dream of.:flowers:

The Cartier love collection is great but the narrow Cartier love band is $1,170. She is looking for fine jewelry under $1,000.

Another option is you can buy something more expensive from Tiffany and just finance it interest free for 12 months.

yeah i guess for tiffany prices i'd rather just do something from cartier... also, an extra $170 would be worth it to me to buy something new... although it was my gateway - now i have two classic loves, love necklace, a clou ring and a watch from them. so i guess in a way it was more expensive than what was initially spent on it lol
