Luxury jewelry is not costume pieces and that exactly what the aH clic clack is. I would start with love ring as that’s iconic and within the pricepoint.

I think it depends on the piece. For example, I think a silver bone cuff is more lux and distinctive than the entry level Trinity bracelets (cord and chain).I would not do Tiffany silver either as that’s not luxury jewelry.

I think that for the price point the OP wants to be in Tiffany doesn’t have have luxury jewelry options. Nor do I consider Trinity bracelets to be luxury jewelry. Both of these items are made by a luxury house but are definitely entry level pieces and not fine jewelry by a long shot.I think it depends on the piece. This is a great post. There are actually a lot of choices to start a jewelry collection, but the vibe matters.Who do you want to show up as?
Artistic? Elegant? Expensive? Edgy?
Who are your style icons?
What kind of jewelry do you like?
Before buying Hermes, do you even like bangle bracelets?
If you like bold and artistic, look for chunky sterling pieces like Elsa Peretti, Lapponia or Georg Jensen, or brass pieces like Herve van der Straeten or Alexander Calder
If you like delicate and luxurious, the VCA sweet line might appeal - its a little outside your budget ($1500) but is lovely and identifiable. (Probably buy those new because of fakes) Pearls or Diamond studs, DBTY or Cartier Legers. Hermes 18k pieces (preowned) might also be good.
If you have more of an edgy aesthetic, maybe Hermes CdC? Or Solange Azagury-Partridge pieces?
I can make a thousand suggestions, but you need to decide how you want to show up.
thanks! I have already 4 pieces from Tiffany&Co, but now I'm more into golden tone jewellery.Though sometimes I wear my silver bracelets))I wouldn’t get costume, metal jewellery…I’d save to get ‘iconic’ piece…or would go for silver like sth Tiffany&C. I still wear their silver pieces and I am over 40![]()

So agree! I passed this rule down to my daughter when she was a tween. Buy one piece of good jewelry instead of 10 pieces of costume. In my view, costume jewellery at the price of Chanel's is a waste of your money. It would be wiser to buy precious metals/stones jewellery.
