I will never buy their new bags anyway, quality is just too ****ty, style of their bags is just so messy (to me) and price is not justified. But to each their own. But this 3rd increase in 3 months (!!!) is showing how they couldn’t care less about us having issues with their quality.

Let’s not create unrelated excuses for corporations need to maintain a relatively normal profit margin at this time. The only link between looting and the price increase as you’ve mentioned is a coincidence.
5 price increases in 8 months even though the canvas items cost the least to make, the quality has declined and the items are mass produced is disrespectful. Yet here we are stalking everyday ‍

Do you really think looting a few shops of which they have insurance for will result in a global price increase? Doubtful. It's a rumour that could be true. Some SA's have said yes, others no, some say increase could be delayed. However, there has been a severe drought in restocks, which happened before the May increase. If it happens, I'm sure all the htf items will miraculously become available as before. Thankfully I need nothing else!

Totally agree. I do think resallers could play some role in it as well as it’s clear that people are willing to pay more for the items. The truth is LV can do whatever they want and they don’t need any excuse whatsoever. They won’t loose their richest customers as they probably won’t even notice the price increase

There's been a lot of htf items on eBay in particular mini pochettes and key pouches in all finishes. It's extremely infuriating for those who genuinely want to wear the pieces. I wouldn't mind if the quality increased with the price. However if we really want to stop the frequent increases consumers have to stop buying!
