sorry to see this :( imo, if you wanna wear this as a clutch it wouldn't be much problem because there will be not much tension to that area.. but if you wanna wear this as a crossbody bag, then the story begin, because one side might have more worn than the other side..

some parts of lv hardware are still brass, so this is just brass oxidising. Perfectly normal and can be sorted with a light polish, better than the gold plated nickel pieces they use where the gold rubs off completely :annoyed:

Salex! Mine too!! My first LV was a speedy 30 my parents got it for me for my birthday 10 years ago in Canada it was only 600 dollars Canadian then...
I’m actually debating wether or not to sell it now... I never use it cause it’s so big but it’s in great condition and much better than any produced now. What do you think?

If you never use it and its in great condition i would keep it and wait for a few more price increases and maybe sell next year :biggrin:

I suggest you contact client service for an exchange. I received a keypouch yesterday that I'm not happy with and I called up client service who are able to put a new order in for me to reserve the item if its available to buy online (without paying anything more) and once my current key pouch has reached their warehouse they will ship out the reserved one to me.
That way you don't pay for another bag, let alone a price increase ontop.
Only problem with doing this is that you have to make sure the product is available online for them to do the order for you and ring them up... so depending on how popular the item is you may never get round to even calling them, but just call them anyway and see what they can do.
Also she told me this whole process will take probably 2 weeks and if you're not happy with the new exchanged bag, you can't exchange again and it must be returned for a refund.

As Becca22 suggested, I will call customer service and ask what they can do. I feel already, that cannot do anything, since the PA is so hard to get. In case, they cannot do anything for me, I will settle with it. The tarnishing is quite bad, maybe you can ask them to exchange the button :) I think this should be a ok for them to do. Still considering we are paying quite a bit of money and going into the store just few months after for a repair is quite unacceptable.
