Precisely. I was livid when I saw the DA only had £20 increase. I can accept that but £65!? That’s ridiculous and totally uncalled for. During COVID vendors are meant to keep prices the same in food shops and this should’ve applied for other retailers too.

Their logic must be: 'well, there's peeps spending money with us still during covid, so clearly they have the dosh to still be fed and then some - for the goodies. Let's ramp up the goodies!'

the thing is, i bet people thought that in 2010 when the speedy was like £300 and the neverfull £400 you know. They have definitely done this on purpose. Its like they are trying to price out a certain customer. Its just especially gross because of the current climate :yucky:

Whaaat? The prices have gone up this much in 10years?? Wow!.. I wasn't into lux back then so had no idea

I can understand what they are trying to do, but why such price increase just 2-3 months after a recent price increase? And now while most people can't even visit the stores.

I think you hit the nail on the head! I think they are definitely trying to price out some of their current customer base. I went into a store last year looking for the TP26, before I was even told whether the item was in stock the SA and security guard ‘jokingly’ asked whether I would be using it as a bag
