Mine was purchased September '15, and has been worn about twice per month. Wife has Sac Hardy and yes, I left it with them. I am waiting to see what they say and then decide how to proceed.I am so sick of hearing that this is normal wear and tear. This is exactly what I was told when I first complained and also by a manager at a Goyard store and also by Goyard corporate. I agree that it is absolutely unacceptable. How old was yours and which one do you have? I was told it would take two months for a response. Did you leave the bag with them? I don't think enough customers are pushing back. In my case an sa told me that the bag was changed so the straps wouldn't crack anymore. Well now I know that is a load of crock. The fact that they continue to sell a faulty product is very problematic.
