Return question: now that I’ve decided to keep the BTP speedy in mist, I need to return pink speedy, mist NF & pink Victorin wallet. I’ve been told that we’re “flagged” if we return 3 items. Is that true? I want them to go to someone who will love them, not a reseller, but also don’t want my acct flagged. Options???

Sent you a PM.

Speedy in Mist. It was my 1st choice all along and after seeing it IRL, definitely a keeper! Showed all to my DH today and while he originally chose pink (which is why I ordered it) he also picked speedy mist. There’s something about it that suits me better. (I’d love either in a BB size!) Disappointed that the strap is not three piece as I like the option of wearing it short. Can’t wait to use it tomorrow!
With the strap coming in only 2 pieces, hanging it as a shoulder bag on one side, is it overly long? I wish it came in 3 pieces too although I’ve never owned a speedy. Thanks for all the pics.

do we really get flagged for returning 3 items?! I made a return last month and possibly will be 3-4 items total year to date after receiving everything here.

I had no idea about being “flagged”? Is that per year or at a time? How long do we stay flagged? How does it affect our future purchases?

I’ll take another picture on the shortest length and post it tomorrow. I also ordered the Bandouliere in Mist to see if that would be a better option. (But this is making it quite a pricey bag)

I got flagged a couple years ago and had no idea they would do that! I purchased and exchanged 3 bags from my local store (not used, just wanted to try them at home). The next time I went in, they told me I was flagged and would no longer sell to me for a time period. I was shocked! (And my feelings were hurt as I’m a very good customer overall.) I stayed away for a year and acct is no longer flagged. Reached out to my SA yesterday about my BTP returns and she said 3 is the norm to get flagged and suggested I mail them in, rather than in-store return.

I do not like this policy of LV, but we all play along. Do you happen to know if the 3 returns include also items that had quality issues?

How can they flag multiple returns when so many of us are unable or unwilling to try the items in store in person, especially in the past 12 months?? Good grief, so tone deaf.

Exactly what I was thinking... I love the brand and products but some policies are just beyond me. With COVID-19 and limited inventory it is just not possible that everyone can see the item or keep going to the store. I would imagine they would be a bit more accommodating now.

There have been so many occasions where they don’t have the product in store and you like the pictures but in order for them to even get it, they need to place an order. Now if that doesn’t work and you return more than 3 times you get flagged. Can’t decide on a color have to order. Can’t figure out sizing you have to order. Limited edition you have to order. I mean then should have the store 100% stocked then as showroom and keep ordering them if and when a customer wants an item. That way their 3 return flag policy makes sense.

Honestly I think it’s directed to limit resellers. Some people will buy a bunch and try to resell for more knowing they have 30 days to return. So limiting the amount of returns will limit them overall (IMO)

I get that they need to try to do something to stop counterfeiters and resellers, but with increasing quality issues plus more distance sales I feel like they should be a little more accommodating. Granted, they’re nowhere near Chanel-level quality problems just yet, but you still have to inspect everything so carefully. In-store it’s less of an issue because you can just have them pull more out of the back until you find one you’re satisfied with, but with online/distance it’s such a gamble. If you sell someone a janky product but they’ll get flagged for returning it, what choice do they have but to sell it if they don’t want to be stuck with it?! And that just worsens the problem.

Quick question, so if you mailed it back and not return to the store you wont be flagged?
