ha, you are too cute! No bag as we stayed home (DH was sick so we canceled our plans)....I did have a Bal out yesterday though for my damn marathon hair appointment. How about you dear?:flowers:

Oh no....poor DH, hope he's feeling brighter today. No New Years eve party for me, just afternoon at theatre for pantomime with my family. Carried my new Chloe Hudson:heart:

I used to sneak my new purchases in..... one spent a week in the car and he thinks they all cost £250 [emoji86][emoji85][emoji87]
:giggle: hahaha you are lucky!! Mine has an amazingly ridiculous memory & nothing, i mean nothing gets by him so I've learned to confess my purse sins right up front (well, MOST of them!!) :hugs:

It is very funny to read how we all try to hide or justify our beloved nuts,:giggle:! My DH does not realize a new bag, especially because most of my bags have black, brown or other neutral colours! Recently I carried a small red handbag, but that he realized immediately! But it was cheaper one:angel:!, A good test, so I have to plan carefully when I buy a red Lily, that is still on my wishlist:biggrin:! I store the amount of bags I bought this year in different places in our house, I think when DH could see them all at once he would get a heart attack! :wtf: I also sneaked most of my bags in, and it is very helpful that I was able to fetch most of my bags from a post office or postbox in my lunch pause:smile:

My biggest mistake was educating DH about mulberry. This was before I found purse forum! Now he knows the styles, cost and can even spot fakes. This means I can NOT sneak any bags in! Hahaha.

Lol, my DH doesn't know about Chloe or Bal ....... yet! He hasn't had any lessons in those yet. He knows about my Pandora obsession too, thankfully that addiction is over and I am content there

You lovely lot of squirrels have made me laugh out loud this New Year's morning, thank you! I needed that! We had a quiet New Year's Eve. Walk in the mountains, a fab dinner with all the trimmings, candles throughout the house and finally, a glass of single malt whilst watching one of my favorite Fred Astaire films into the wee hours. Isn't it a Lovely Day...?

Dear Kendie, hope your husband is feeling better--ugh, the viral intestinal bugs are the worst. Stay healthy, my dear! Was worried about you after your stressfest of the last few weeks.

I share the same history and strategies for introducing a new nut into the cache vis-a-vis DH. My blessing, as so many of yours, dear Squirrels is that he's really not that interested + blithely unaware=under the radar. Unless I dress up for an occasion or something takes his fancy ( a particularly good haircut, for ex.) my appearance largely goes unnoticed--or at least, uncommented upon. Another blessing, perhaps ;) He knows I have a bag issue, but as it is managed by my one in one out method and more to the point, separately financed, it perplexes him rarely. Having a separate closet is also critical:graucho:

Here's a quandary that some of you may share: in spite of spending constraints, I have to say that temptation is provided too regularly via random online pre-owned offerings. As we know, one must wait and choose carefully as rarely does a pristine M come along and then the competition can be fierce. So, even with the older Mulberry styles there can be an ongoing issue of, I shall call it Cache Management. Online sites offer such temptation for squirrels looking for treasured older Mulberry nuts, do they not? Cache Management Alert on this first day of the brand new year!:panic:

New Year love to you all:hugs:

Happy new year mulberrymermaid. Your New Years eve sounded perfect. I can totally relate to cache management, perhaps that what we should refer to all of our purchases as. I can picture it now....

DH - " why are you getting your credit card out ....what are you buying" ....?
ny2005 - "nothing, just a bit of cache management"

This is hilarious!! I must remember. Finances are separate for me too although we have a joint account to pay all the bills etc. I sometimes feel guilty as DH is never a spendthrift!

Happy New Year to all, Mulberrymermaid I would 'third'?? That your New Year sounded like bliss and what a great ruse Cache management is. :coolio:
The squirrel clutch is adorable....a mascot.
Preloved sites are so dangerous and are my biggest temptation...indeed I
Lurk and check to see what New lovelies have arrived....:blush:......on my favourite sites.
I am afraid I can acquire an overstock of nuts if I don't curb myself.
Hubster is a bag Meister, so I get away with nothing ( TBF he does love them) ,but I am pretty sure he knows nothing of cache management.....:graucho:
