Scarves Spring/summer 2022 scarves

Thanks Ania for the pics. Hermes on the beach cw 02 is on my wishlist with my SA and seeing your pic really helps my decision. There is something off about this design that I don't want it anymore.

You should definitely see it in person, it may suit you much better than it does me

I was expecting it to be one of my favourite scarves of this season but I in person I don’t like it as much. I feel like some of the rich warm tones, e.g. the buttercup yellow and the pinks read as too harsh against the other shades in the scarf - like the other yellow and the greens that are cooler and subdued

I love both of those On the Beach colorways but totally understand if they don't spark joy for you! The black hem on the second one really interests me!

The CW03 is very interesting - the pastel colours work so well with the black hem and accents. It’s a beautiful scarf

I love the colors of the Splash Park CSGM but I don't like the cartoonish design, anybody else? In fact there are several scarves/shawls this season of which I love the colours but not the designs: would you buy them anyway, since the design doesn't really show when tied..... I can't decide.

I don’t buy designs I don’t like. I’ve tried and even in the most perfect colour combo for me and I still won’t wear it. Depends on if you can live with a design when the colours are perfect for you. It will be folded up so you won’t see much of the design. I think it could be one where the design won’t be as noticeable worn?Are you able to try it on before you buy? Best of luck!

My SA at the Madison Ave. store contacted me last week to say she had received one and that it was gorgeous. I purchased at her recommendation (nervous but trusting!) and she mailed it to me. I haven't posted pictures yet but will post here before the end of the day!

Thanks! I got cw 9 (posted above) last week and am not sure whether it is a keeper. The yellow looks beautiful, and hoping to see the mystery lilac version! Also, would love to see cw#2 IRL! Looking forward to your pictures and thanks in advance!!!

Thanks @momasaurus. I have 3 cws of Tigre Royal: this, 01 and 04. The 04 doesn't show much of the difference since both sides have the same base pink/orange. I still like it but not fav. Which cws do you have?

I have 04 (pink and orange - I agree about there not being much to the 2-sided effect) and 05 (greens).
I love that you have 3 - now I won't feel strange if I add another one!

I have this yellow and a pair of the black and I want the blue one too. The only 90cm I liked is the pink/gray/gold, which I have and wear. The other colorways had some tricky colors in them.

Short story, long! Ordered Hermes story in blue/brown c/w. Proceeded to send it back to H. Cancelled the send back, and I decided to have a think about it. I was having a severe case of FOMO looking at all of the others who own it, and rock it. After looking at it in the box, taking it out and again trying it on, I finally decided that the brown, whilst beautiful is too cool for me. Fast forward to this week. Sent back Hermes story and I'm now the happy owner of selle imaginaire in the blue/brown c/w. Great timing for a nice birthday pressie. This one suits me to a T.!

I LOVE this!! Wow. All the browns and blues and graphics. In theory I love the maron and maron glace but haven’t had it around my neck yet to know just how much of it I like. I get what you are saying.

a few: these are in artificial light, and comparing the grenadine of Hermes Story with the grenadine of Les leopards shawl—both have grenadine as first color on the tag. Not shown, but also in natural light the HS red (grenadine) looks less saturated than the Leopards red.

Thank you for the pics and the thoughts on herstory! I am struggling with the same conundrum - I love the pairing of Marron and Blue, I think the combo is fabulous. However Herstory has more marron than blue, and I already have picked up a marron scarf (Les Folies du Ciel double face) so I feel like that niche is filled. I am weak for blue and your pictures have me thinking about elevating this scarf to my short list. Oh dear, my short list may become my long list soon. Oops.
