Short story, long! Ordered Hermes story in blue/brown c/w. Proceeded to send it back to H. Cancelled the send back, and I decided to have a think about it. I was having a severe case of FOMO looking at all of the others who own it, and rock it. After looking at it in the box, taking it out and again trying it on, I finally decided that the brown, whilst beautiful is too cool for me. Fast forward to this week. Sent back Hermes story and I'm now the happy owner of selle imaginaire in the blue/brown c/w. Great timing for a nice birthday pressie. I did this same thing. Just the right amount of brown in selle imaginaire. It looks great on you.

I love the colors of the Splash Park CSGM but I don't like the cartoonish design, anybody else? In fact there are several scarves/shawls this season of which I love the colours but not the designs: would you buy them anyway, since the design doesn't really show when tied..... I can't decide.

Faubourg Tropical CW 11 - looks darker on H.com and very much like my Leila. Had, therefore, not considered it at all. IRL it is sunny, creamy, peachy - and was love at first sight. Sorry for the bad lighting but I had to share my joy with you immediately...

Sooooo, I rarely wear 70 carrés bc I like 90s much more, but this was too cute to pass up!

Hi Scarfies! @Sammy Royal and @blydia have posted beautiful mod shots of Faubourg Tropical cw11 and I just got home from NJ where I picked it up at the Short Hills boutique last Friday. Haven't had time for mod shots yet but was delighted to see already that it pairs perfectly with some spring/summer t-shirts and sweaters (not counting camel and cream) as well as a great JCrew sweater jacket from last season in pink. So here are some flat photos for any of y'all pondering.

Just got home with my new purchase. Hermes Story 05. The assistant also introduced me to the Mors 2 Laiton scarf ring with which I’ve used to tie it. Not sure how I’ve managed to live without it for so long.

Loving this neutral CW

I joined the Faubourg Tropical 11 group of @Pivoine66 , @Sammy Royal and @blydia and posting some mod shots. It goes really beautifully with cream, camel, peach and rust-pink shades as Sammy and Blydia have shown. I tried to pick some different colors so y'all can see that there's a lot in the shawl to work with. And just for fun, I plan to wear it as a wrap over white linen, too. It is very light and sheer-- a pleasure to tie and play with. I think it looks pretty with soft grey and even pale lilac as it definitely has cool tones. I am so delighted to have a pink shawl (Bonus: that new scarf ring!)

Hi everyone. Posting photos today of Grand Tralala #28 petrole/blanc/gold. I am crazy for #19-- the marron glace that @Croisette7 has, but I love this blue-- it really lights up, I think. Its even a horrible grey rainy day... I am always somewhat allergic to H gold-- it can be marvelous or ...just a lot on me, but this is very light and bright and quite summery. Also posting mod shots of the Fleurs et Papillons in 06-- I already have purchased Faubourg Tropical in the cw11 pink/peach so I am hesitant about the beautiful 04 that has been posted.All thoughts and opinions gratefully received. Both #19 Grand Tralala and the triangle in 04 have been ordered and I will be in the boutique before the return window closes on these. I have time to decide.

I imagine you already know, but in case you haven’t seen it, Eduoard Baribeaud has starting sharing some of his inspiration for this artwork on his IG account this month:

Before posting my musings about the design here and on IG, I ran what I wrote by both artists just in case, and they posted it on their Stories on IG… Told me my interpretation was accurate as it mentioned primarily their main source of inspiration which was Clarissa Pinkola Estes’ book Women who Run with Wolves… Then, he posts about the scarf later and doesn’t even mention this source of inspiration… LOL! I mean, the book featured on the illustration is entitled La Loba (the She-Wolf) alluding to the Pinkola-Estes piece and the wave of creation emanating from the singer even features the wolf leaping forth just as in the tale… And he doesn’t even mention that (shaking my head baffled) Whatever…

I‘ve been silently adoring all your new-ins from SS2022 - now I would like to share mine…La Selle imaginaire CW06. A well made mix of browns, blues, oranges, taupe, mustard and camel, which makes it a very versatile scarf with a modern and partly maritime touch.

Been catching up with the thread as I’ve been absent for a while. Right after I added the above multi-quote, all of a sudden I am unable to multi-quote any more. I don’t know whether it’s a glitch.
Anyway, just wanted to say that I am blown away by so many beauties and thank everyone for so many helpful posts. The Faubourg Tropical shawls, Tigres Royal, Hermes Story, and the rest are awesome… Truly love them all!

Thank you for the pics and the thoughts on herstory! I am struggling with the same conundrum - I love the pairing of Marron and Blue, I think the combo is fabulous. However Herstory has more marron than blue, and I already have picked up a marron scarf (Les Folies du Ciel double face) so I feel like that niche is filled. I am weak for blue and your pictures have me thinking about elevating this scarf to my short list. Oh dear, my short list may become my long list soon. Oops.

I got the Les Becanes twill carré 70cm in two CWs. It is adorable and perfect for spring. I especially love the striped ribbons and bows along the borders and the candy cane hems. Here are some pics.

Oh! Did you by chance post pics of that maron folies? I didn’t remember it coming in that color.

My pics are on page 130 #1,950
It's the double face with one side a pale icy blue w/ pops of orange and the other side is that same marron color. I love how the 2 sides are so different, the marron side looks kind of dark with so much brown but there is a pink undertone which is forgiving.

This mornings arrival in the most enormous box. DH thought it hilarious. It's a keeper. Lucky it was my birthday last week. No mod shots as I'm a tad unwell and in Isolation. Nothing like an Hermes delivery to brighten a day!!

Thankyou, Its a statement piece for sure. I'm picturing this over little black dress, or today I tried it with a white singlet and light blue denims, or could do any of the colours pictured in the scarf with colour block underneath. I'll attempt an outside photo tomorrow, for some reason my photos are a bit blurry and washed out.
