Ooh. Was hoping for one of the other colors but the blue is lovely…anyone see one in person?

I bought the blue cw, it is very nice and the blue colours combination is beautiful. I gave it to my mom for her birthday, and hope she will wear it soon so I can take photos So if you don't have too many blue scarves or just want to try this colour - don't doubt I posted some photos earlier in this thread

This is classic Hermes - the color term eg grenadine is not standardized. Two bleu canard ones of mine ca 2007, one is much darker than the other.
They tweak the colors for each design in several ways. They may mix the colors differently but use the same name - eg 10 tsp of red and 10 tsp of blue vs 10 tsp of blue and 9 tsp of red - both get the same name violet.
Another variant is to apply less of a pigment to one scarf than to other - design A gets 1 C of violet, while design B gets 0.75 C of violet
And one scarf may have different impression than the other - lighter versus darker due to surrounding colors.

There are only so many color names to go around and the space for the colors (on the store tag) keeps getting smaller

Picked up colorway #09 - blue/orange/green of Hermes On the Beach 90cm silk yesterday. The store only had 2 colors, this and cw#1. Can't wait to see some of the other colors. I am loving the lilac one posted earlier and the yellow looks beautiful!

I purchased on impulse and am realizing why I should not do this. I cannot seem to make this colorway work with anything I have in my closet except for white. When that happens I usually return…..any suggestions? I’m not sure if it’s the yellow or if there is too much pink. The border is Navy/Marine.

I'm liking the colorway for myself, still considering the online purchase! I would wear this with denim (or blues). Maybe bottlegreen also. Thanks for the looksee! My fear was that the pink might be too bubblegum, but it appears more buff-toned. What is your take?

The only scarf that decreased is the Woof Woof. I saw it when it was $680, when I bought it was $720 and now $700
unfortunately price increases without warnings
