The saint germain bb is my all time favorite crossbody. I have two in black I love it so much. My dream is for it to be released in taupe or blue. I love the saint germain bbs more than my Chanels even. They're just so pretty and comfortable
I was just on the LV website, checking my order and the price of the Speedy Empreinte 25 and 30 were both an additional $500 from what I paid this morning. I was shocked!,,,, A few minutes later, the price went back down $500. I'm wondering if there is about to be a permanent increase?! I can't imagine the price of a Speedy 25 being over $3K. I love that bag, but not quite that much.
I bought my first old model speedy in 2013 for $2,650 before tax and then my second one in 2015 for $2,840 before tax, over $3,000 after tax. The price increases are frustrating but I love my old models so much that I find them worth it. $500 in one increase is crazy though. The new model was introduced pretty low though in comparison to the old models price point, so I wouldn't be surprised if they get it back up to what they were going for when they discontinued the old models in 2015. Glad you got yours before any potential increase
. With the introduction of the new speedys colors I wouldn't be surprised at all by an increase because their demand is going to go up with the new colors. The Palm Springs mini backpack has gone up a bit in about a year because of demand too. I have a LV watch with very very low demand that went down a couple hundred in price lol. They charge what they know they can get for their items. I recently got an epi speedy and was less than thrilled with the price point but at the same time, I admit, I would pay even more for it if I had to because I do love it that much. I got all the chanel pieces I wanted last year because of the price increases they have that are just ridiculous. But these bags are all investment pieces, the classics from both fashion houses hold their value- resale value is always a perk . I don't think I'll ever sell anything in my collection but my lifestyle needs could change (with kids soon and such), so it's nice to know I could get most of my money back if I wanted to on all of my items 
I'm looking for a nice, simple epi bag (done with canvas & sensory overload with many of the new releases).
The Vaneau in dune is gorgeous. I'm so scared of color transfer though! When I spend a certain amount of money, I don't want to "think" about my bag while in use.
The LV site could do with an overhaul, IMHO. It is not user friendly at all. I like Gucci - lots of clear photos and descriptions. A functional search feature. Ah well
I went to the LV store to check out the Neo Noe. Came away empty handed. My store had all the colors is stock but the bag didn't wow me. The bag that I did like was the Clery. It is understated, easy to get in/out of, has a back pocket for cell phone and a reasonable amount of space inside (less than an Alma BB though). Also, the strap is not too long (as a shirt person I find most of the BB sized items to have too long a strap for me). When removed, the bag can easily be carried as a clutch. It IS $$$ though so I want to think long and hard if I do want it.
Me too!! That clery is so classy. Especially in black! I didn't care for it cross body but loved it as a hand carry. I was wondering why it was $$$ though. Sheesh.
