I picked mine up yesterday and I haven't unboxed her yet - I'm faaaairly certain it's supposed to be the same color scheme as the rest of the bag. Poodlemom, this is sort of a golden opportunity to have a unique bag - I love the red shoulder strap for it!
If you'd rather have the Marine Rouge shoulder strap, perhaps consider a trade?

Absolutely beautiful. I'd keep the red strap. You could always purchase a replacement on the marine color later on if you decide you need it. Is the interior of this bag blue or red?
Wow! Thanks so much everyone for your lovely comments! Here's a few more pics. I got the luggage tag hotstamped with my initial. The side of the bag has the LV trademark stamped on it. I'm hoping they'll just let me keep the strap, because it'll be used, I'm not sure what they'd do with it. If not, I plan to try to buy it. I'm not planning on giving it up, as I really love it with the red. The long strap it the marine rouge color combo.
