In case anyone is interested, I tried on the Hyde Park tote today. I've been thinking of getting a DE bag that can be worn crossbody (my only other canvas bag is the Totally PM in DE), and have been hoping to find something different from a Speedy (the Sienna doesn't do it for me for some reason). I had high hopes for this one, but it doesn't quite qualify. It's a really well-made bag, but the strap is not quite long enough to be worn crossbody (I am 5'6, so maybe it would work on someone shorter/smaller). Also, the base is very stiff, so when I did try it cross-body, the base stuck out in a very awkward way. Kind of disappointed because it's beautifully made -- even the strap has the extra touch of both brown and black leather and is nicely detailed. In the second pic, it's just on my shoulder, and looked OK that way, I think. The bag is proportionally very wide, so I wish it wasn't quite so stiff and would hug the body more. Hope this is helpful to anyone considering this bag -- if you want structure and a shoulder strap, it may be great for you!

This is so nearly a 'perfect' bag. Thank you for a good honest review I think I will give this one a miss. So wish they would make the shorter handles shoulder length! Still good for my bank balance that they haven't.

I can confirm - I'm picking mine up on the 24th. There will be pics on my IG on the 24th and a video on my channel on the 25th. Monogram/RB, Monogram/Red, Monogram/Black are the 3 combinations. xoxo Wendy

Hey Wendy! I just watched...very nice review[emoji5] love your Owl wallet...it's super cute!! I love huge wallets so I've been thinking about getting the Empreinte Zippy in Marine Rouge. My go to large wallet right now is an Insolite in Blue Ikat[emoji4]

Hi everyone :) i am new on here and haven't quite worked this out yet...so sorry if someone has already posted this question! it's coming up to my 21st birthday and I want to make my first LV purchase, i am in love with the victorine wallet but am worried about damage to the leather covered button. Does anybody know if they are going to be releasing any new victorine wallets that have the metal button? Thanks! :)

Well if you are looking for canvas pieces; (such as the ebene or Monogram) these will have the snap closure button with the leather cover. I've watched a review on YouTube by LoniGoLux where basically she says to close around the snap button.. not actually pushing down on it to prevent damage to the snap closure. (Pressing down on the sides of the canvas)
Other wallets such as the epi leather Victorine's.. do have the metal closures.
So it's really a preference, if you are set on a canvas piece they will have the leather colored closure. If not, you can always go for the epi or vernis victorine option.
