Are there any new upcoming DE totes with Rose Ballerine interior? My store seems to believe they are phasing out that combo but I always trust what I read on TPF more. Currently there is only the Caissa tote and the Neverfull MM right? I was hoping they would do the Neverfull PM with the RB interior. TIA for any info...

In case anyone is interested, I tried on the Hyde Park tote today. I've been thinking of getting a DE bag that can be worn crossbody (my only other canvas bag is the Totally PM in DE), and have been hoping to find something different from a Speedy (the Sienna doesn't do it for me for some reason). I had high hopes for this one, but it doesn't quite qualify. It's a really well-made bag, but the strap is not quite long enough to be worn crossbody (I am 5'6, so maybe it would work on someone shorter/smaller). Also, the base is very stiff, so when I did try it cross-body, the base stuck out in a very awkward way. Kind of disappointed because it's beautifully made -- even the strap has the extra touch of both brown and black leather and is nicely detailed. In the second pic, it's just on my shoulder, and looked OK that way, I think. The bag is proportionally very wide, so I wish it wasn't quite so stiff and would hug the body more. Hope this is helpful to anyone considering this bag -- if you want structure and a shoulder strap, it may be great for you!

It's a great looking bag but it doesn't look so good as a shoulder bag, it looks more like it's supposed to be hand carried.
It seems LV is putting a cross body or shoulder strap on so many of their bags but they don't really look good when worn that way. It just seems to be a trend what ever the bag style is they put a shoulder strap on them. I guess it makes them more versatile - in theory.

I agree ... I love the idea of a shoulder -- or better yet, crossbody -- option on every bag, but in reality, it doesn't look good on all bags. Personally, I can't do handheld-only bags, so I walked away from this one wishing I could talk myself into it, but at the end of the day, I just couldn't.

I second your opinion catsinthebag! Tried it in the store and wanted to love it but it's just too wide. Looks kinda weird on.
