hi all...i am a bv newbie...i wanna buy a medium cabat as my first bv...
and i am loving the copper colour...

but now i am confuse...
there is a copper shiny goatskin cabat on 09 s/s collection (from bv.com)


so my question is are they two different colours?
or are they just the same one?

amelia kelly, how shall I explain this. Copper is a SS09 color and it comes in various types of leather and finishings. As a result, to our eye, they might look quite different.
However, BV only produces the cabat in a couple of new colours every season. I believe, the copper shiny goatskin cabat as seen in the catalogue is the only copper cabat there is.

The Copper Cabat is NOT metallic, but is shiny. More of a deep burnt orange. The color is similar to Hermes Potiron (Pumpkin).

and i just found a photo from a tpfer, its a copper cabat from 09s/s
and the colour is like deep orange...
so...is it the real shade of the copper cabat??
and its QUITE different from the other two which from bv.com!!!

Yes, that is a more accurate photograph. I have seen it IRL at the boutique. Definitely NOT metallic.

here is a photo of mine, it is in fact the copper shiny goatskin, but looks more burnt orange and is not all that shiny LOL, this is the one listed on the BV website now, mine is the medium sz for $4700. i know i was also very confused....it is shown next to my Hermes potiron birkin also in goatskin...it is not metallic at all...

Just received my BV Spring/Summer 2009 catalogue and fell head over heels in love with this Saffron tote....has anyone seen it IRL by any chance? Was curious about dimensions...mainly drop length of the handles. The color to the left is Tea BTW. Sorry for the sloppy photo:
