Hi missteresa! I think you're right about the m/l leather being harder, the mini leather is super soft. I love both of these bags but would pick the m/l if I can have just one based on the leather being a bit firmer. My so black rectangle mini seems pretty delicate but I am ok with that because she's just sooo perfect and makes any outfit just so edgy, and I don't intend it for everyday use. Try stuffing it for a bit! That really helped with mine and the creases are gone since mine came with a few light creases on the bottom (but otherwise was perfect). Hope you can keep both if you love both!
I have seen both square and rectangle in Chanel boutiques and just rectangle at dept stores. I saw the square minis in boutique months ago though, not sure of any place that still has them. I last saw one mid-March in SF boutique. I do know my local boutique has a rectangle mini if you are looking. PM me if you're interested, the pic I got seems like the mini is perfect.

Chanel boutique gets square and NM has rect black mini and the rest of NM buys are all patent I think
I second what San222 said!!! Somehow m/l isn't as prone to creases as minis. They are ok without stuffing though there are dented or creased m/l but not as bad as minis

or you could exchange with the square one since the rectangle one is of the same shape with M/L already. the crease is too obvious Dear and it looks like it's something to do with the structure not only the leather issue. hth

your mini got crease too? i couldn't see that on pic. it looks perfect to me. i haven;t been contacted by the boutique for the M/L so black. guess i'm out of luck. even the minis has no news at all. it's so nice in the us , u got more stocks than here.

WoWw this is unique. I've never seen quite like this before. So black logo w/ a ghw chain. Take a while to digest the look for me though but it is special in a way perhaps it's going to be the next big thing from Chanel having diff hw in a bag

Yay @JE2824 I'm glad you found the one, it is precious! I've tried everything to make the creasing come out at the bottom... Non is working, I guess I'll have to return it
