I asked at Chanel and they said it the same colour in different lighting. Green is a much brighter green which is on the Chanel website. I managed to find the Taupe today whilst on holiday [emoji3]

yes especially vintage chanel, their puffiness even long lasting in caviar. your pic's really proven the current Chanel craftmanship which is blahh.
i'm getting disappointed w/ chanel quality and design nowadays. just last weekend, i saw a girl w/ an M/L classic caviar flap w/ the new ghw. not a big fan of the lighter gold. don't get me wrong, i'm not a bling gal. It just doesn't seem as luxurious as it was. worse, they scruffed the ghw too like the chevron ones nowadays. really looks cheap n tacky imho. in the old days, I could differentiate the real and counterfeit ones just by looking on the ghw but now well it's not that special/stand out any longer.
You know what....the ms puffy in my pic was from 15C made in Italy
I've seen bad ones mostly made in France ranging from 14B, K throughout this year! And then I started to see flat quilts coming from Italy for 15S.....[emoji33] for black caviar SHW wocs (I've returned at least 4!!!!!) [emoji26][emoji17]
But then again...I saw some really nicely made wallets from Italy for 15S too.
QC is definitely not there for sure for made in France IMHO

my SA told me that my M/L11.12 chevron so black has arrived. i am sooo excited until i saw her pics. please let me know what you guys think. is it my eyes or i could see the same wrinkled problems as posted by other tpfers before. left side is ok but right side is awful to my eyes, almost every part of the chevron gets wrinkled or is it just the lightning effect and still acceptable?
i kinda get the feeling that the wrinkled bags instead of getting sent back to their HQ for quality inspection, they are still sent around the globe to whichever boutiques w/ waiting lists hmmm.
i try to rotate the second pic but it keeps rotating sideways sighhh

yes i read that too that the 15c caviar quilting is terrible. how come france one is worse now. i thought in the past it's more sought after than italy made ones. i agree with such price, we expect near perfection, better not to buy rather than feeling disatisfied. i got my 14c classic caviar and it still looks ok to me but i never inspect any before and beyond that. thanks to all tpfer here highlighting it for me so i could be more aware when looking for caviars.

the so black's dent i posted above has the same dent location with your patent (plus there are still plenty dents from what i saw on the right side of the bag)
Hey congrats on getting this so black!! I see it too. It's really really not bad at all (imho) but if you like things perfect I know it may be hard to accept it. Can you ask for a different one, or if your boutique is gonna get more? We pay too much for dented new bags. Or maybe you can try the trick others did like try to steam it out if you really want this bag! I think it's very lovely still, little imperfection or not! Its impact is felt regardless and maybe over time with use it may look better. Think about what's acceptable to you though~ good luck keep us posted.Hi Gals,
