Spend threshold for B/K/C

Shopping/buying more won’t guarantee that you’ll get what you want or get what you want faster in my opinion. If you really only want a B25 in the grand scheme of things waiting a year or so is not that long of a time. If you want it now, just buy from consignment.

My SA told me that a 25 in either a Kelly or Birkin was unlikely for a first offer (this was last year) and my first offer ended up being a K25 in a neutral color a year later. Time flies and I didn’t feel like it was that long of a wait for my small store.
I agree that shopping more won’t necessarily help to get the desired bag faster. I have a feeling that France keeps bags to sell within the country and lesser bags were sent to other countries. Hence, buying more just spoils the market for everybody.

I have a hard time keeping my SA to think of me and hence my QB wishlist without going to the store and ultimately end up spending money. How else can I prevent my SA from forgetting about me? Haha I obviously don’t want to text the SA just to “catch up” or remind the SA of my wishlist. I always end up going in to buy one item but always end up walking out with buying so much! Haha anyone feel me

Ask for things that she doesn’t have.

Oh I see, thank you for this. Yes, I wasn't sure if this has to be do with pre spend amount thus the wait time. I also see every SA is different like some would offer with less pre spend and some with standard ratios. Thanks again!

Hermes Q3 sales is out with around 30% increase in sales. There is news that next year there will be price increase up to 10% in Europe. Lesser increase in other countries. Additionally, suppliers will meet challenges, hence there will be delays in Q4. For details, just Google.

So, don’t expect to get bag fast with high pre spend. Doesn’t do anybody any good.

Hello, I was told by my SA for a B25 it would be a year or more wait but B30 I can get very soon in like a month or two, however, I only want B25. Wanting to know if this wait in NYC is true now or if me shopping more will help expedite? Is it also true that usually first offers are B30 and B25 are hard to get as first offer ?Thank you
I have a reasonably solid SA relationship. b30 was no problem. B25 took maybe six months or more bc NY didn’t have many (this was during the summer). Post opening, it may be different, but I would assume NYC is focused on current roster of clients who have been waiting patiently. My prespend is 5X + mainly in RTW and home, but it’s not entirely prespend. Other TPFers have reported similar waits and spends. A bit easier for a K25 than a B25. I personally wouldn’t waste anyones time including my own asking for anything I didn’t really want. If your SA likes you and something comes in, she will let you know. Personally, my SA really hates it when people keep refreshing his memory.

Noooo……spend more. I need the dividends…to spend on them.

I just started purchasing some items from an SA in the Miami store and was offered a few bags that are not B/K/C. Wondering if the non B/K/C bag purchases count towards spending history? Or do I need to be spending in other departments such as RTW in order to get a quota bag offer?

Hi,
In NYC doesn’t count but maybe different for Miami, heard it’s easier to score quota bags there :)

IMO, you buy only what you love irrespective of prespend. However, to get answers more on point, you can read a few pages back  (go to the top of the screen and select a page number or click previous page repeatedly) and/or post in the Miami shopping thread (click on the link below)

To answer your question, I think the SA's and SM like to see that you have purchased items across all categories. I am not sure about non quota bags counting towards pre spend in Miami, but you could also ask your SA.

As to Miami, it can help, but not as much as other categories such as home or jewelry.

I would be more concerned about accepting non quota bags that could delay a quota bag offer, if that is what you seek. I would speak with SA— different stores have dif rules. SA may think that by you obtaining a bag, you are “bag satisfied”.
