Anyone have experience getting a b or k at the American Dream Mall in NJ? If so, can you let us know the prespend and average wait time? I am trying to spend more there not sure if it’s highly competitive there. TIA!

I believe every sa in the USA will say different things regarding the Constance. Last Sunday when I visited the Hermes store I asked my sa if the Constance was a quota bag, and my sa told me “No it’s not a quota”. So imo it all depends on the sa…. At least right now……

My SA in US has mentioned twice it is a quota bag cause I said okay I would rather wait for the Kelly then.

My friend spent $17,000 on non-leather goods in that store already but still no luck. She only got offered a Constance 24 which she did not want.

Agree. In the same store, my friend SA told her Constance is a QB while my SA told me Constance is not a QB. I guess it really depends on the store and your relationship with your SA.

Interesting… possible it varies by store. At SM discretion ‍♀️

I have been seeing multiple posts that spend thresholds have increased significantly for bk - sometimes upwards of 2-5:1. I am curious with these levels of spends are clients getting their top choice colors and sizes, particularly those clients who have been waiting a long while? I would hope so but I know that bags are also in very short supply.

From the stories I heard, not all the time. But most of the time the clients just chose to take it since the second one was always offered near the end of the year, they were afraid of losing the chance of getting a second quota if they reject. It was still a color on their wishlist but not one of their top choices. The person I know spent 50k before getting offered the second bag (40k non-leather and 10k leather).

Just my personal observations. Welcome to disagree.

Usually those who had waited for a long while will not be those with high spend ratios. They generally do get what they want unless they are waiting for something that is in very very Low production. They may get offers but they turned down as they are insistent to get exactly what they want.

Those with high spend ratios, they are the ones who want bags very quickly. But no matter how much is being spent, there are people who are spending as much if not more and asking for the same bags.

There r also those with high spend ratios and waited very long, these group seems to be the long time customers who buy whatever they like which Hermes seems to have neglected recently while they try to satisfy new clients. Or they might have purposely not been given offers. I’m sure quite a lot of such clients sell their bags anyway.

something I'd be interested in: what's about the loyal customers, who spend on a regular basis over 10+years and not within a year a huge amount? Sometimes I have the impression, that H is quick in, high amounts, quick out. That's sad. What's about the loyal scarf afficionade who buys 5 to 8 scarfs a year and won't qualify within the 1-year- period?
I am curious.

it can happen...it happened for me and rather quickly. I think everyone's experience is different which is why I dont think people need to give a lot of weight to threads like this because this is all so subjective.

I would suggest to ask your SA. Hopefully you have one which you have been faithful to for the past 10+ years.
