Thanks for the warnings as always haha. As a new customer I do have a final time period I am willing to wait and a total spend I am willing to put in before just walking away. I personally don’t see the problem with being strategic and smart on purchase categories if I am actually enjoying the items. It’s not like I’m buying them and hating them.
I just offered a b30 Etain rghw after spending $23k at the store at my last appointment and $9k over text. Total current ratio 3:1. I gave my SA an updated wishlist of b25 and b30 and it seems like b30 are much easier to get because I got the offer call a week after. At my last appointment, I bought an alligator Kelly wallet. Does anyone know that exotic count towards spending? Also, does prespending reset after you accept a quota bag offer? Or does it reset by the end of the year December? My SA is making me pick up some items on my wishlist on the day I pick up the bag. Will it count towards my next quota or get reset by the end of the year? I’m really thinking if I should take those items now or get them later because I already spent so much.
There is no “end of year” reset. Everything counts. Whatever you buy with the bag will help your profile which will help toward future offers.
I would not have purchased more wish list items the same day I picked up my first bag if I had already spent 3:1 in the states. I’d get burned out and my SA would have developed way unrealistic expectations. I would have bought the bag and made another appointment for 4 weeks later, picking up those items then.
What is a reasonable prespend for B30 noir non epsom any hardware? What about gray? less popular B30 colors? In the US, competitive store. Please no answers like “it doesn’t matter your spend, blah blah “ just looking for rough idea.. it seems B25 can be 3:1 for any color just wondering about my request and how hard it is. Thanks!
2-3:1 these days. (Though as you know, your question is unanswerable in any meaningful way as it depends on so much more than just spend. If your SA likes you and you’re not rude, probably closer to 2:1. If you’re an entitled jerk whilst in the store, probably closer to infinity:1.) Also, I’m guessing there are many people out there that would argue that 3:1 for a B25 of ones choice is anything but a dependable expectation, especially currently at a competitive US store…
Does anyone have an idea of the timeline/spend for a K25 post covid? I started shopping in fall 2021 and spending routinely but wanted to know the landscape with the supply chain delays for local US stores? I asked mainly for neutral colors ( I know very popular but I love them the most )thanks!
From your username if you’re in Boston I briefly looked on the thread for Boston stores and there was someone who had spent 5:1 over the year and was told point blank it’s impossible to get a neutral quota bag this year also same response for C18. I’m a newbie and of course there are exceptions but the general feel from my reading is it’s been very hard recently and perhaps 1:1 is no longer a reasonable ratio… like inflation haha
Does anyone know if a birkin sellier is rare/hard to get? Haven’t heard much about it and is there any way to prevent my SA from having unrealistic expectations? I really do love everything I’ve purchased so far and thinking of adding other home stuff to my collection. However, I don’t know if I’d be comfortable hitting 2+:1 with no offers.

I don’t think they are any more rare than any other Birkin spec, I think it’s just a matter of what your store ordered. When they were first released, my SA was asking all the clients if they were interested in them to give feedback to the SM for podium. I feel like in my store they are probably easier to get as they are less desirable (imo) but for other people, they might be a dream bag. No different than other personal preference detail so per the title of this thread, I would not expect the prespend to be higher for a Sellier Birkin compared to the exact same specs but retourne. Just make sure your SA knows of your interest to be proactive.
Quick question if anyone knows. I have gone into the NYC store a few times to shop and my SA has offered to order for me a couple of items that were out of stock at the store but available on the Hermes website. Does anyone know if items that I purchase at the store but through the SA online ordering count towards spend profile in that store? Or will it work the same as regular online orders and not count towards spend in that store?
