Still living the island life, Heidi Montag continued her stay in the tropical locale of Costa Rica on Tuesday (September 8).
The bikini-clad former MTV reality star sipped on a drink while taking a dip in the pool at her villa as one of her dogs joined in on the waterbound action.
In other Speidi news,ealier today Spencer issued a long apology to Heidi, saying he's planning "intense soul-searching" and pursuing "appropriate avenues for my issues."
"Divorce can be a trying, draining, and emotionally devastating experience for all involved," Pratt, 27, tells PEOPLE. "Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not – I failed spectacularly."
Addressing his actions toward Montag, 23, he says, "I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me. For my outrageous and infantile behavior, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies."
He didn't specify what actions, but Pratt has been threatening to release a sex tape involving Montag, launched rants against her on Twitter and has been relentlessly pursuing her in Costa Rica.
"Over the years, her love, support, and friendship were always given, but never properly cherished. I let her down," he says. "She never deserved the pain and anguish I put her through, and although I don't expect it, I hope in time she'll be able to forgive me."
He adds, "Even though our relationship has changed, I will always count her among my best friends."

Funny how they are both "taking accountability" for what caused their split. Do I detect reconciliation in the near future?

This is truly a shame, because I take marriage very seriously, and I just think this whole thing is fake. From the split, to the Twitter rants, to the soul searching, to those posey "candid papparazzi" shots above, to Heidi's fake ta-tas... all of it.

Heidi and Spencer bored with the USA

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are each separately talking about permanently moving to Costa Rica. Do we smell a rat yet?

Sources directly connected with Spencer tell TMZ ... he wants to move to Costa Rica for two reasons - it's a lot cheaper than L.A., and he would be closer to Heidi and possibly salvage his marriage.

Of course, reason #2 assumes Heidi is also moving to Costa Rica. So we checked with sources in direct contact with her, and they're now telling us Heidi is indeed noodling on the idea of living in the Republica de Costa Rica.

So the question - Is this whole divorce thing a pile? Heidi's friends are kinda hedging, saying she loves Spencer but doesn't know how to deal with all the problems.

No word on how Costa Rica feels about this.

it really makes me angry that those two vile creatures are inhabiting one of the most special countries in the world. hopefully the ticos will revolt and get them out of CR! ;)

What exactly is she trying to do and say in these pictures? She is trying to look natural - yet they are so posed. Is she just showing off her new body? Is it just more self-promotion?

LOL^Self promotion, I'd say:p They are running out of ideas to remain famous. The clock is a tickin....Did LC ever respond to Heidi on Twitter?

I don't know if I'm believing all the new found sereneness of Heidi and Spency. "love and light' or what?
And these latest pictures or Heidi looked so posed. Her face doesn't look to bad in these shots but I still just can't get used to those huge boobs stuck to her front - I know she's had lots of surgery lately - but just get one more and have those basketballs removed.
And keep away from Spencer.
