Speedy owners.. How do you carry?

Sometimes my hand sometimes in the nook of my arm.

Personally, I carry on my arm and think using the strap is very CHEESY!!!! If you carry yoru speedy with a strap - don't take my comment personally, I just don't care for the look - that's all!!

in the nook of my arm because I usually have something else in my hand like the blackberry or keys or coffee or something ha ha ha and of course I have to have a free hand

usually i carry it at the nook of my arm, but then it gets tight and crampy so to stretch it out, I carry it in my hand. I probably should take some of the stuff out!

I know this is a no brainer question but I'm just wondering if more tPF are carrying it in their hand or arm more..
I'm just afraid my speedy bag, itself or the way I was carrying it was at fault for my old speedy to be peeling at the handles.. PEELING not chipping like some people get from normal wear and tear.. mine was PEELING like a banana! Haha.. and I was wondering if it was just the bags defect (not strong enough glue/glaze) or if it was me carrying the bag in my hand to long.
But then isn't the speedy made for carrying in the hand?

Me too, like most women I meet. The fashion this winter seems to be:
Black tailored coat/peacoat, mid-calf lenght. Sometimes belted.
Dark/black denim skinny or straight jeans.
Flat knee-lenght boots over the trousers / 5cm bootees under, indistinctively.
Rather small (compared to other seasons) handbag, hand-held/crook of the arm.
Nice warm snug scarf.
Statement glasses (thick frame).

I have seen a couple of girls carrying the Speedy with a strap and it didnt look so bad. Specially im thinking if you have small children, or a stroller. It seems rather practical to me.
