Just for reference (and to see if it helps!) this is a picture of my Speedy Empreinte in Galet that I bought when we remodeled our master suite over 2 years ago. I had to store all of my bags for almost a year, so this one was used every day for that year. It also makes it into a regular rotation because I love the neutral color. As you can see, the embossing is still great and it shows very little wear. Hope it helps!

Thank you. I ordered them as a repair item, then had them attached by my cobbler. If you attempt this, I must mention that you need to keep the old pulls too. If your Speedy ever needs servicing from LV I don’t think they would repair it in this modified state.

I have both- Emp in Infini and Epi in Noir. I prefer Epi because of two reasons, I like the shoulder strap better and the bag is much lighter. Emp is about $1000 more and to me, not worth it. As far as durability believe both are strong. My spouse likes the Emp, whenever I take it out, he says, “Oh you’re using your pretty bag today!i should add that I have the original model in Emp.

This is beautiful. May I ask, are they putting feet on the bottom now? The website says bottom studs. I was thinking about getting a 20. Love the speedy. Thank you. :smile:

The last Speedy I purchased was the NM Marine/Rouge 25 and it does not have feet, which I will admit I miss. I did go online, and you are correct it does state bottom studs. Maybe they just added them? You might call customer service and see if they can tell you.

Thank you so much. I sold both my original Empriente Speedys so I was thinking about the 20 since I don' carry much. I like the feet. I asked my SA and am waiting to see what she says. How are you liking the new model? I worry about how the embossing will wear over time. That's why I sold my other ones. I didn't like how they would look after a while.

Honestly, when the NM was released I didn't care for it. The Speedy Empreinte is pretty much my go to bag, and I have it in many colors. My husband bought me the new one in the Mastic color. I have grown to love it and have added two more. I love the exterior pocket. I know some people worry that the printing will flake off, but I have not had that happen. If you look at this thread post #22 I put up a picture of my Galet which I have carried more than any other bag I own. No issues with embossing fading. I do still miss the feet on the NM!

I didn't either. I do worry about the lettering too. Not sure why they did it that way. I usualy try to be kinda careful but I know it won' stay perfect and it's not suppose to. I think the exterior pocket is great too. I just have to get past the no feet. I don't mind it on my DE Speedy cause it' canvas but I think that leather bags should have them. I'm thinking about noir. I like blue but not sure about the red trim on the marine rouge. My Speedy already has the red interior and I don't have a nice black bag.
