Thanks! I did :) I finally got to try on the favorite in the mm size and the Verona pm. I saw the new bags that resemble the SC line. Nice but not my style. What other bags are you going to check out besides Trevi?

I'm not sure what else I was going to look at...I hope you get the Verona, I really like the style...

Thanks!! I really like the Verona pm too. It has nice detail to it. But favorite mm would give me a nice crossbody bag which i do not have yet. So i may get the favorite for now and maybe Verona in the later part of fall for my bday. I am so torn because i love both and want both now...lol. I am not sure though that i will get Verona because I am suppose to only get one more LV this year so :(.

Hi everyone, I recently got a speedy b 25 in DE 10 days ago. I love it so so much but have since noticed some issues cropping up on the hardware and the bandouliere.

I'm still new to the LV family so I would appreciate to hear your thoughts and advice. I plan to also consult my SA but since I haven't had that much experience with LV i thought i would ask around here first. Just basically want to know if anyone else is experiencing/has experienced the same issues, and if this is normal "behaviour" for a Speedy b 25. Also would appreciate any suggestions on how to correct the issue if anyone has gone through the same thing and managed to fix it.

HARDWARE ISSUES include
- Dark spots/discoloration on the D-rings on each side of the bag + Tiny scratch marks (or is that tarnishing?) speckled on one of the D-rings
- Tiny scratch marks (or again tarnishing???) on the square metal hardware that holds up the rounded top handles. They are quite visible under sunlight and are unsightly even if they are tiny. Just makes the bag look tired and not brand-new.

BANDOULIERE ISSUES are some "swollen" spots that have appeared, close to the stitching of the straps.

Again, I don't know if I just have unrealistic expectations of the brand but I've only had the bag for 10days, used it for 7, and was pretty careful with it. Just a bit dismayed especially by the scratch marks. Let me know - am I just too OCD or is it a legit concern?

I would start with polishing the hardware myself. If that doesn't yield enough results, you can always take your new bag to LV and ask your SA.

I would return this bag to my SA and ask what is going on with the leather on the ebene straps. That looks like a manufacturing defect to me. I have 3 speedy bandouliere -- one each in 25, 30, and 35 -- and none of my straps is like that. Good luck!

Hi![emoji3] No, you are not too OCD, nor do you have "unrealistic" expectations.lol That is very much so a legit concern! It definitely didn't use to be "normal" behavior...

I wonder also, why some of their items, especially NEW and/or minimally used/less than a year old are tarnishing so fast now, but what's most concerning is the HW, turning SILVER![emoji15] The tarnishing can be removed...anyways,

I have an OM Speedy DE, purchased some years ago now, and none of the hardware has turned silver. The lock itself, tarnishes...which, seems to be a normal thing, due to the material used now.

Honestly, I would take it back to the store, and exchange it. It seems defective; I agree, the strap should not look like that. And, at the price point, ten days later you should NOT have to polish anything. Definitely, consult with your SA, and let her know your concerns!

Take it back ASAP. 10 days and tarnish? LV is slipping lately with all the issues. The strap shouldn't look like that and you will never be satisfied if you keep this bag. I had to exchange the exact same bag but mine had jacked stitching down the sides. I requested my original bag strap back due to the fact that the NEW bag STRAP had jacked stitching lol! I stopped her going to the back with my old bag and TOLD the SA that I wanted my original strap. She said no problem.

It looks like water got inside the coating of the strap. That happened to my DE Speedy when I got caught in a downpour- the rain soaked the tab where the lock hangs and I still have a "bubble" in the coating. I wonder if this was a return. It seems used to me. I would definitely exchange for a new bag!

Hi everyone! Thanks for your input. I did go to the boutique and consulted the manager about it. They offered me a brand new bag on the spot. Said they've never encountered this "bubbling" on the straps before and were very concerned. I got the same bag, as it's really what has taken my heart at the moment. Finally able to enjoy it without worrying about those bubbles - but yes, the tarnish on the hardware has already begun without even a week of use! I asked some YouTubers who have the same bag and they did say theirs are tarnishing too. Oh well...

Good Afternoon,
I hope that it is alright to ask a question re: my LV Speedy 25B in DE. I have had the bag for approximately a year and the folds that shaped in the box when it was received have not gone away. I still have creases where the bag was folded, even though I keep packing in the bag whilst it is in the dustbag.
Will these creases go away with more time or maybe someone has another suggestion to get rid of them?
Warm regards,
California53

I stuffed both of my Speedy b's with big fluffy bathrobes and sat them in the sun when they were brand new. I really stuffed them to almost bulging. The warmth of the sun did the trick. Plus my mono needed a tan anyway lol! I sat them in the sun for about 3 or 4 days till the wrinkles and crinkles were gone. I keep them stuffed now when not in use. If you fold them down, you will have to start all over again. Hope that helps.
